    This is so cute, fun and looks relatively easy!
    Just recently stumbled on your your channel and so enjoy watching all the amazingly diverse types of chain maille and looking forward to trying this out!
    Excellent tutorials and would appreciate any guidance on beginning the hobby from the materials, tools, definitions, making my own jump rings, etc.
    Of the dozen or so channels that I've seen, you are the only one who uses different colored metal which is IMMENSELY helpful in visually understanding how the jump rings are connected to create such intriguing chains!
    Thank-you in advance and kind regards!

    Hi! Just recently found your channel and I am loving your work! :) I want to try this, but I have a question. I can't seem to find the 9mmID rings. Would a 10mmID work? If so, any other modifications you would suggest? Thanks a bunch!

  • @dharmakaya_handcrafts

    Hi there, thank you for this tutorial. I am new to chain maille, I just have a quick question maybe you can answer. So if my bead is 12mm, would I need to get one size down wire in millimeter? Does the ID at the end of mmID mean inner dimension? So the jump ring should be 14 gauge 11mmID? Thank you for your help : )

    • @AussieMaillers
      @AussieMaillers  Před 2 lety

      Possibly....captures are a lot of trial and error especially since not all beads are the same, even when they are supposed to be....and honestly, the same can be said for jump rings.

    Hi Deb, can the bead be of the drilled variety? Will the holes in the bead be too obvious?

    It was fine all the way up to caging the bead, then I couldn't manage it; I had 4 'loose' rings at the end, instead of 2.
