Nice!! I had a 65' Chevy Truck when I was 17. It was a step side and a wooden bed. The body was in really bad shape though, but the engine, trans, and rear end were updated for racing.
You had a great childhood... I had a Ford Probe when I as 17
The way he talks and the phrasing he uses, you can clearly tell the lack of knowledge. But you can see the willingness to learn too. Not everyone’s born knowing these things.

Ha, says its all original, has a gmc hood, 66 reverse lights. Nice try. Not origional paint ,bbw only available in 66.

Incorrect, the big back window was available in the 50s.
I own an original 65 with big back window.
Do your research, correctly.
@chevy man while you are correct about the GMC hood, you are incorrect about the backup lights. Those are aftermarket. The factory '66 (first year for them) were flush mount, just like the taillights.
Not original. GMC hood, steering wheel is from a car. The emergency brake lever is from a '60-'61.
We are still learning every day! Almost impossible to know every ride and we are forced to go off of what we are told sometimes... does not mean it is right! LOL. BUT WE LEARNING!
@@MotorCity_LA I understand. I wasn't trying to sound cocky or disrespectful. I'm just an old fart who grew up on the '60-'66 Chevy pickups. Yes, there are still some things that I don't know. But I do know a lot about them.
