- Surprise! The CW asked me to turn "I Ship It" into a series for their digital platform, the CW Seed! Loosely adapted from the short film of the same name that I wrote/directed for New Form Digital.

The Story: Ella Spencer forms a nerd rock band with her roommate Tim and two summer interns, Sasha and Denver. Musical adventures ensue!

Watched all four episodes in one sitting! I was curious how you'd keep the original essence of the short film without the same characters, and man, you still gave it that I Ship It spark from the short film with the "Moral Support" post-it and the songs with nerdy references. Also I love the dual love stories going on (aka girls kissing is every lesbian's necessity when it comes to shows). I just look at every detail of the dialogue, camera angles, and scenery, and I know just how hard you've worked and all the effort you put into the show so far. It's truly inspiring, and I hope CW will appreciate that as well. I'm in love, and I want June 30th to come sooner!!

I watched them all - I LOVED Ella/Tim, the music, and the crashing of Steve's birthday party. Tim was seriously the most adorable, most supportive, charming character. I loved the little easter eggs from the original short film - the wall of sticky notes (polaroids), moral support, the drunken test kissing. The cinematography was great, the colors and lighting were lovely. It was a very funny script, too. Well done Yulin. :D
