I think the opening is exciting, building the crowd up, for the Queen of Pop! The crowd sure was enjoying themselves, by the cheers! Some people just can't do anything but complain, how sad. 40 years built up to this amazing night!

Sorry. Disagree. Bob reminding the crowd who she is? Tacky. Look back at BA or GST... Confessions tour. Those are the epic openers. Yeah she can't repeat herself but for a 40 year legacy, M should have the best tour opener of her career. A drag queen from RPDR isn't cutting it. Its totally fine to see it differently and not agree. Something incredible should have led into Nothing Really Matters-- not Bob.

All the commotion going on with people being removed from the front row + people coming in after the show started (probably because they were queuing for drinks) it’s such an act of disrespect in my opinion.

I have to agree. this is the worst concert opening she's ever had. in fact, at one point you can see her standing, preparing to enter, and the staff are illuminating the place where she should stand with their flashlights. while bob is still on stage. there is no surprise or cool appearance on stage. Additionally, from the stands you can see the men taking Bob's wig off his head so that he can fit under the stage when he takes the elevator down to the stage just before the first song. it looks pathetic. 😂

People walking in at the front with their booze after Madonna has started is so weird to see. Especially how much they’ve paid to be there. I saw the show in London last year and was sat down the side of the runway (Near the Vogue chairs section) and I stood there for 3 hours plus waiting for M to come on. What’s wrong with these people at the front that just stand there and don’t dance? 30 years ago when I saw The Girlie Show in London and Paris, people were literally going crazy at the front, passing out and climbing over each other with excitement. I know we’re all a lot older now. But come on guys, at least dance and look like you’re enjoying yourselves!!!

@teralmiles there's so many reasons for that. First, we've all gotten older just like M has lol. Next, Madonna is kind of like nostalgia now.. she's not at the top anymore. Always the QoP but not Taylor Swift right now or anymore. People went nuts during the BA tour and GST because she was literally the world's #1 star. And her most loyal fans didn't abandon M after the Sex book so they went crazy during the Girlie tour.DW was her big return and people lost their minds too.
Now though? Not really. I see a lot of empty seats in these videos too. Many have outgrown Madonna, don't want to spend the big bucks, or hate who she's become over the past decade. The people that are there though are either older or too young to remember her best days so long ago. They just want to say they've seen Madonna at least once in their life maybe?
