This really was one of the best half time shows. Madonna has such a vast discography, she could have put in so many more massive hits but she did it right. This was perfect. Ending with Like A Prayer like that was iconic.
I remember seeing the tour she did right after this -- MDNA-- and when she did Like A Prayer as the 2nd to last song it was so powerful to look around the arena with EVERYONE dancing to one of the most iconic songs of the 80s generation. Imagine that same thing amped up to this stadium!
I often return to watch this. Those in the choir must have been elated to perform at this. One of those incredible I was there moments.

@SantiagoChavez The moment during 'Vogue' that has always stuck out to _me_ (that wasn't directly Madonna-involved, if that makes sense), was the gladiator (by himself) on the 30-yard-line at 0:32. *_He's_* the one whose job it was to give the 'cue' to the gladiators behind him (by raising his hands in the air at 0:32) to 'open' the flags ('feathers') which would _then_ reveal Madonna. Having the sole 'responsibility' of being the person to 'introduce' *Madonna* (of all people...lol 💗at the *Super Bowl),* ... with that magnitude of cheers & applause when she's revealed) would (in my opinion) be absolutely _thrilling._

Just saw her in concert and had to come back and watch this. I gotta say, these young artists have absolutely nothing on this woman and this halftime show. THIS is a show! I mean literally perfection. Even if you're not a Madonna fan you can't deny this show is what a superbowl halftime show should be.
We must remind each artist who will perform at the next Super Bowl that this is how they make an iconic presentation.

I really respect an artist who, after being on stage for over 30 years, still puts her soul and full presence in every little thing. She's not jaded, it didn't become a job. She's not resting on her laurels. She is SHINING and PERFORMING epically. That's really SOMETHING! She was meant for this.
What am I going to say. I never attended any paid rock n roll concert in my life except one time Madonna Concert in the 80s. It was the best memory of my life. Two things: 1. i don't think she made any money on this performance. I think production cost of her side is close to $5 million dollars with all those people. She is doing it for the FAN. She put up everything she got and then some. 2. Her voice "Echoes in Eternity" with this performance. Thank you Madonna.

sadly her last decade. But 40 years in an industry as fickle as the pop industry is damn good, she struggled to keep going for the last 15 years but she's just about kept it going for 40 which is fantastic. Shame she's kinda damaged her legacy though in recent years but you can bet everyone will remember her as 'one of the greats' again once she's dead, they always do. People should have respect for her now even if she does kinda look crazy these days, she's still the queen to her fans.

Which people were pissed about since it was a school shooting that she knew about. She also was massively late to her concerts, which she made thousands of fans wait up to one and a half hours just to see her. Causing some of her fans to leave because they had to get home, as the concerts already started very late, and her being even later meant people weren’t leaving her shoes until almost 1AM. Then people had to find they’re way home at that time also. And she literally said “Don’t come to my fucking concert if your not happy” which is an asshole thing to say especially being that late and paying a shit ton of money. And a lot of other things.

We "have all seen out of shape peeps" from children, teens, to ADULTS/whatever...look at the age of Sir Paul McCartney (who I am soooo happy is performing), who is old enough to be MaDonna's pop, or THE ROLLING STONES, come on, you made a reference to THE AGE, but would you do that for the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, etc. who are waaaaaay older than Madonna?

I feel like this was the first Halftime Show that was a really really BIG production with theatrics. After Madonna, all that followed knew they had to raise the bar and followed suite. She changed the concept. That’s what makes Madonna the queen. Periodt!

Just saw her concert in San Francisco. She was fantastic. It wasn’t just a concert, it was art! And she looks great!
One of my favorite very Superbowl performances. Love the costumes, the smooth transitions between songs, song choice, inclusion of other artists, choreography, marching band, choir. Madonna's beauty and talent really shines through in this performance.

I saw her New York show years ago and it was incredible. I don't know if she lipsynced or not, and it doesn't matter. She was in motion the whole time. Pure talent.
