  • I’ll explain how 모든 and 마다 can both translate as “every,” but have different meanings and nuances. I’ll also show you how to use the form 때마다, which means “each time” or “every time” or “whenever.”

    i just realized something.... hanja prefixes in korean are just like latin/greek/roman prefixes in english!

    this is so helpful! whenever I try and use 마다 people would always correct me to 모든 and I really couldn't understand why!! I think it's quite difficult! maybe for now I'll just stick to using it when talking about time hahha

      "All" can be used as a noun in English too, but 모든 is not a noun.
