Awesome presentation, I love all three of you. I did not feel uncomfortable at all during the discussion on the fee. I didn't feel the Spirit depart either. Charging a modest fee once in awhile is completely justified. Having skin in the game makes a huge difference and causes the investment to be more gratifying. Thank you Oak, Meghan, and Cory!

Thanks for the great video and introduction to the service and books.
People seem to be quite concerned about the fee issue, so I decided to leave a comment about that myself. It may have no value to anyone, but that's okay, too.
Personally, I've never been able to understand the idea that paying or otherwise sacrificing for something makes you value it more. I've come to the conclusion that there must be some phenomenon like that for some people. I continue to analyze my own actions and feelings to confirm whether I can discover something new along those lines in myself that I've failed to recognize to date, but as yet I cannot find anything. Anyway, I loved your explanation of it, and especially the fact that you'll provide it free just by being asked to do so. I'd say that makes it even easier to pay the $20.00, if I understood that amount accurately. (I haven't checked it yet, but I'm seriously thinking about doing the course.)

In the online course there are some visuals and it's a little different experience. However, I haven't finished the online course yet so I don't know what content differs from the books. If you have the books, I would do them first. They are very insightful.

I agree with the previous comment. I immediately felt uncomfortable and stopped watching when the fee was explained. The sister was uncomfortable with the question and seemed desperate to justify it.

The attempt to disclaim priestcraft raised more questions than it answered. As a sales pitch it could stand a lot of improvement.

Thanks for the feedback!Ultimately, we recognize that if someone wants to equate us with priestcraft, there isn’t anything we can say that will change their mind. But if someone is earnestly wanting to know why we chose what we did, we are happy to share our process! Please let me know what additional questions I can answer for you.

I think you overreacted to my comment. I did not declare this to be priestcraft but only thought the disclaimer was somewhat naive or incomplete. For instance I have taught many temple prepration classes over the past 40 or so years, but in each case I was requested to do so by either my Bishop or Stake President and it would have been in conflict with my understanding of both the law of sacrifice and Consecration to have personally profited thereby. I have found that each class needs to take into account where the students are on the growth path and that is very difficult to accomplish in a "one size fits all" presentation.

I am mostly done with the course. It’s very good and it didn’t bother me
One ounce to pay a fee. It does make one more committed to use it. I’m not worried how or when those funds are used. It’s apparent they are not for personal gain. Great course. Love all of the thoughts presented. I’ve always been a seeker of truth and info on the temple so thank you. So helpful!
