The gas is one reason you should wear eye pro. Edit i see now lol. But also for the brass shells to work you need to put a bevel on the mouth of the case for them to work in pump and semi auto actions. They're originally made for single shot break barrels.
This makes me feel pretty confident about my $400 purchase. Haven't had any issues with mine but also haven't shot it too much. Y'all shoud've kept shooting till that tree came down tho

I just got one used at my local gun shop for 350 used. I couldn't find any new ones, so I decided to take a chance. I don't know if they've been discontinued or what the deal is. It's in pretty good condition, just minor little scrapes from use. Good deal or not?

I used to have a lynx 12 but sold it a few weeks later. It wasn’t cycling low brass on the the 3rd gas setting with the 10rd mags. You’re supposed to have 00buck on setting 2 and Slugs on setting 1. The Vepr 12 is just more of my thing
A bit on the crude side but WTF? Best hands on review of the Lynx 12 I have yet to see. Gives me a better idea what to expect from mine.

Maybe try running a lower gas setting for the gassier shells? That would probably be a lot better for ya!

After we stopped recording I shot the tree one more time with a 7.62x39 ar and it fell over. But yeah the lynx 12 is a great cheap 12G

I have a KS-12 and it needs 1200 fps ammunition to run properly
Most semi autos do. That's why I was so surprised at what the lynx would run out of the box.
After 1000 rounds it might cycle other loads, semi auto box fed shotguns are notorious for having break in stages

That's the only down side to the lynx. It is threaded for muzzle devices but no internal threading for chokes

Yes. Out of the box it's set on the 3rd highest setting.
