- The Warhammer Black Widow is one of those must-have hero mechs that I recommend to every player. Capable of running a wide variety of ballistics-oriented builds it is a very capable Inner Sphere heavy mech with some good quirks. Today's loadout will be 4x AC-5 and a Light PPC! Always appreciate the additional build explanations, options, and review of the quirks at the end. It helps give a fuller understanding of the mech, and the why for the builds.
I do not skip the build explanations good sir and I appreciate them being included. Of course I only speak for myself.

I would consider LAC5 for that and a bigger engine. Nothing like a heavy mech running as fast as a medium.
Also with the lac5 you can fit a second lppc in it for symmetry.
Use 4 light AC 5. Works better with plenty ammunition. I use er med lasers also
Light AC 5 you lose the range, you gain heat, and you will never use all that ammo .... They need to rework the Light AC's. They are so under whelming, and don't have a proper place - yet.
Your ER Meds are probably doing most of the work in reality.
I have several Black Widows, all built differently. I have one that is similar to this TTB build. This TTB build is interesting. It relies on your team a bit much if you ask me. IN the days of almost zero team work/communication we are in now, it's not a mech to use sustainably. But again, just my opinion...
The most important thing about this game, is to have fun, bottom-line. Lots of people treat it like an E-sport, and that is fine..... but it puts a strain on the rest of the team wanting to unwind.
I wish the Faction play was normal play. And normal play was casual. But they don't have enough congruent players to actually sustain faction play in that manner. Therefore the player base is going to dwindle faster and faster.

I've been running mine with 4 LAC5s and a pair of LPPCs...
Sure, the LPPCs have the better range, but the LACs have half the cooldown so you get 2 shots from them for every LPPC shot.
As a result, it can get warm, but it does put out a decent amount of fire.
LAC5s are like C-UAC5s but without the double tap, so the damage spread and low dps makes it harder to use.
@@zigzagkillah7666 I only use 2 er med lasers. Torso weapons only. I use mine on a faction deck. No issues.

Judging by your ammo consumption, seems like the 270xl with just one extra ton of ammo might be the play, since the extra speed could help with positioning. Nice shooting though even if potato wifi was confirmed on the spider.
Change the armor to Light Ferro with Endo-Steel, run a LE280 (64.8 kph, 69.7 speed tweaked) , 7 tons of ammo, and drop the Light PPC (Not needed IMO for this mech), with full range and cooldown skills. You are doing 20 damage ever 1.3 seconds at over 700 range)
Have you considered light ac5s? You can go another light ppc and/or XL and get more everything

Lag lord? Not his fault. It's PGI's .... The last 2 weeks or so my lag has become horrendous out of NO where.
I live in North America. And my ping for N.America servers is like 130+ .... no other game I play in this fashion, gives me that bad of a ping. PGI did something with the servers, or moved servers or something ....
