This is years old but I do my best to make the pad flat from the bottom and whatever I can’t reach from the bottom I finish while on the slope before climbing up all the way. Also depends on what your intentions are of climbing the pile in the first place
You did just fine on the climbing. Next time try spending an extra minute cleaning up on top. Or when you got a huge pile like that climb up next to where you actually want to sit and get up high and flat then flatten off where you want your staging area. The best thing you can do to learn is watch how a experienced opetator does things. I was lucky to grow up with my two best friends dad owning a small excavation company so I got to see my two best friends operating all the time. And they were 15 and better then most people with 10 years experience.
Man, is there anything better then being in the hots seat, these people that talk shit started as a beginner to so its funny to see there bullshit comments, there is so much you can do with am excavater man, once you learn the ins and outs, it becomes like one of your limbs, nothing better
I never dare to climb at this angle. Not scared the pile would slide or go ? Not scared the machine could slide on the side, nothing would stop it. I really prefer climb with bottom up. That way I can have the bucket for holding safety. When you climb at the front if something get wrong you are gone. I don’t know what guys experienced with that kind of event would say about the safety of it. Feel also concerned about the position of oil in the motor, it may run dry at 45 degree like that
That's what your boom is for to counter balance the machine you can't go rear upwards in every situation that's actually unsafe you can't see where your tracking up too and going forward movement of the boom will level the machine out as it reaches a flat spot and if the slope is too steep pull some material down
u just need practice I've worked with way worse you'll get it ,check my channel for some tips ,I have almost 23000 hrs in seat just started a channel of my own
Yes don’t pay attention to the negative comments sometimes ignorant people will try to make you feel bad cause that might be only thing they’re good at !
Will Patterson no i did not put him down all said was in my eyes he needed to learn how to operator a escavator thats all i said in real life you will find people that looks at some things differently they you do so the hole thing is if you are going to put your self on a social media platform you're going to get criticized by some people sometimes because if my father's saw this video he would have said things even worse so all I'm saying is if you don't know how to run it please don't put on CZcams because I did not put him down I just found some flaws and now he was operating the machine and I let him know about it so you havd a great day and god bless

No safety belt put on and drive motors were at the rear instead of fron when climbing up hill. Amature hour again..
Never have your idlers pointing down hill on steep ground. You're the amateur son.
You don't see these guys running idlers pointing down hill

No seatbelt or hard hat fired!
Hard hat? In a cab? With a ROPS? I agree with the seatbelt, but Hard Hats are for FALLING OBJECTS. All I see above him is blue skies, sir.
