i just returned from the boston science mueseum, it was a field trip where we got to camp in the mueseum after hours and i saw this show! soooo cool i also saw the planetarium show, coolest thing ever
In the 1960's my father convinced director, Brad Washburn, to bring this Van de Graaff generator up from South Dartmouth and he managed the early installation and calibration.
I was there last year on my vacatione across New England oh this gives me so many memories of my time in Boston. My sister filmed this and didn't plug her ears after the museum she had a terrible headache and her ears were hurting haha
I saw the lightning show when u slept over there for a field trip ( south elementary school ) and it was so loud and I slept in the cave in "natural mysteries" it was fun and the bed of nails was fun!
#ZammieSammie, that's kind of odd but cool. I went to Boston for an overnight feild trip once in 5th grade. Best. Field trip. Ever. I'm from the fairly new, Idlehurst Elementary School. Point is, it was a lot of fun.
I go there every year and one time me and my friends went there on a field and we were on the level that you were and all the experiment things around that part the chairs were you sit at to use them we took them and sat right up against the glass good times
I used to go to this museum a lot and watch this show. I think it actually helped me get over my fear of thunderstorms when I was a kid
This show scared the hell out of me as a child.

So wait, is this unique to the Boston science museum? I grew up going here and kind of assumed most science museums had one of these?
