    Have tried on a pair of slack tides and half moons. I am right in between them with the slack tides fitting a little better since the arm lengths are longer. Love the look of the spearos. Afraid they will be too small. Some of the reviews on Costas website says they will work with larger heads. Thoughts?

    I have been wearing the motu for the last 2 1/2 years. My frame broke around the nose piece yesterday. I love these glasses and would not hesitate to buy another pair. But wanted to see your thoughts on something comparable to them? I like options but I will say I two pair of fan tails prior and didn't have much luck. The rubber would not stay on them and almost drove me back to Oakley.

    I love costa, I have the reeftons but I feel like they are too big. I’m looking for some smaller styles. I love to fish but I also feel wierd wearing fishing sunglasses in the city. Any good beach/sporty costas that fit well on small head?

    Of the Rinconcito and Tico which one is an overall smaller pair of glasses for a smaller face ....especially the lens size? I own a pair of Whitetips and Trevally.....how do they compare in size to the Rinconcito and Tico? Thanks

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  Před 5 lety

      Hey Gary! In regards to just the lens size, the Tico and Ricnocnito are very close. The Rinconcito has a lens width of 60 mm and a lens height of 42 mm. The Tico has a lens width of 59 mm and a lens height of 43 mm. To confirm I just grabbed both frames out of our showroom and measured them myself. It will come down to if you prefer a wrap-around design like the Tico or more of a lifestyle look with the Rincocnito. Please let us know if we can answer any other question.

      If those two frames fit you well then the Tico is the best option.

    Ricin vs half moon vs slack tide? I currently have the Oakley Holbrook’s and they are slightly small and are a little small on the nose. The tuna alley fit me good so which one would you recommend?

    • @CG-kw5hk
      @CG-kw5hk Před 5 lety +1

      Also I would want a little more wrap than the Holbrook’s, are all of them about the same wrap

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  Před 5 lety

      Hey Caleb! Out of those 3 options, it sounds like the Slack Tides are the one for you. They have similar sizing compared to the Holbrook and it has a little bit more wrap to them compared to the Rincon. The Half Moon has the same amount of wrap but it's more of a true M fit.

    • @CG-kw5hk
      @CG-kw5hk Před 5 lety

      SportRx the Holbrook’s will be sometimes lifted up on my cheeks if I smile or laugh, does the slack tide have a shorter lens height

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  Před 5 lety

      Gotcha if that is an issue then the Slack Tide's might cause the same issue. The Half Moons have shorter lenses and its frame width is actually very similar to the Holbrooks. Those would be the best option after the issue you just described.

    I really would like to get some Costa, but I can't find any that fit my xx-large head. I tried on Permits and they seemed to small and tight around the side of my face. The Fisch's seem a little bit better and I am leaning that way, but I wanted to see if you guys recommend anything else. I tried on Blokes and Rincons and they were too small. I am interested in the Apalach, but I am afraid they might be too small as well. Any suggestions or should I give up my quest to find Costas. I currently wear some Fatheadz's I think they are in the 150s frame length, but they are a little oversized.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  Před 5 lety

      Hey James! The Apalach would be your next best option if you wanted something different than the Fisch. What's nice about the Apalach is the acetate frame material. This material can be heated up and adjusted to fit wider heads. We have a machine that can heat up the material and allow us to easily adjust the temples to make them wider. Almost every single optical or sunglass store will have a machine that could help you. But if you need for something on the water then the Fisch would be the better option.

    I have a pair of ray ban justin 55lens 16bridge. And they are still just a bit too small to me. Is the rincon and apalach considerably bigger? Its impossible to find pictures showing size difference and cant follow the specs, cause the sizes are all over the place.... Rayban justin size is set to have a 138mm frame width total... That is larger than both rincon and apalach, if you look at specs.
    Will have to order from you cause costa is not easy to get in sweden. But its hard to decide when its almost impossible to find a proper size comparison, that actually show the size difference.

    • @sportrxeyewear
      @sportrxeyewear  Před 5 lety

      Hey Zip! We recently learned that most brands measure the frame width at different parts on the frame and from customer feedback, it's not very accurate for most brands. For this reason, we stopped listing the specific measurements given from the brand in our more recent frame reviews. When the Rincon review was shot we listed out the measurements Costa had on their site to be consistent. However, when we did the measurement ourself we found the Rincon to be a 140mm frame width. We are currently in the process of remeasuring each frame we offer to reflect a more accurate frame size. But if there are more frames you want measurements on please let us know and we will be happy to help.

      @@sportrxeyewear Im deciding between costa, rincon/apalach/baffin - You dont have to happen picture or anything like that were they are lined up next to each other, mby even with a ray-ban Justin 55mm lens in the mix too?

      @sportrxeyewear  Před 5 lety

      We, unfortunately, do not have a photo of all 3 of those frames lined up next to each other. But I can grab each frame from our showroom and measure out the frame width for you on each one. The Rincon is about 140mm, Apalach is 142mm, and the Baffin is 137mm.
