You can tell she absolutely loves music. The look on her face the entire time says it all
'Tis true! I'm so grateful that music found me 😊
but how can she not know interstellar theme
@@VictoriaTheodoreyou are magic ❤️
@@brownlashawn56 🙏🏽☺
Everybody loves music
This is probably my fav so far from the drumeo and Pianote series. It’s just so impressive! She needed to figure out the song, figure out an approach to playing it, apparently memorize it and then have the dexterity to be able to play it… but also play it with a lot of emotion and character. It’s just insane!
Thank you so much! It was definitely an exciting challenge!
Great job! Awesome
🙏🏽☺@@bplusmc1
@@VictoriaTheodore Nice! I don’t often do this, but I feel you would appreciate learning about jamesmillergospelpianist. It’s a wonderful story. Google it. Thanks!
It’s a very cool video. My fav is ii on drumeo
(Edit) - they’re close
Amazing how she clocked it by ear, then once she felt it and got cozy with it, she made it her own, absolutely astounding talent this lady
Thank you so much 😊
@@VictoriaTheodorewhat I found impressive is that you had so much more flow and grace when you made the piece your own rather than trying to follow the imho busy and a bit clumsy original arrangement. I always found it a bit over the top - the original piece is rather minimalist and the power comes from the church organ. Anyway super impressive as everyone is saying :)
@@MiegmaishMenas🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
respectfully, interstellar isn't that hard to play from ear, it's mainly 4 chords over and over
Respectfully, what is your point?
The definition of genius is going from A to C without doing B, she's literally boiled down so much complexity into simpler hand placement, while improving the arrangement.
Outstanding!!
🙏🏽☺️🙏🏽
While making several mistakes too
@@alanmatkovic3221 Definitely mistakes! But sometimes inspiration rises from the errors ☺
@@VictoriaTheodore bro how the hell do you play by ear. That is insane. I am just starting piano. Im 13 and I need some tips to improve fast. Of you got any please share them with me to improve my journey as a pianist. Thank you.
@@Epicboi25 hi! I’m definitely no professional, but I did start 2 years ago when I was 14. tip would be practice your fundamentals first, master the basics while you get used to the piano…sometimes I can play by ear because I somehow remember how the keys sound! so there’s really no huge shortcut, you have to constantly practice and learn. of course, you can search up more videos for advice :)
She's got a super computer for a brain. Not only did she nail the song, but went beyond it and made it better. Unreal talent.
Thank you 🙏🏽 😊
Made it better ? Hold your horses thats a masterpiece lol made it her own and was really good yes but lets not compare
@@robertoc.480 If we aren't comparing the soudntrack but rather the only Piano arrangement she had to study, she defenitly did a better job at conveying emotion. I don't think Mr.Zimmer would be bothered by this so why would you ?
@@robertoc.480 Person is lacking some IQ to assert it went way beyond the original composition.
Yes she Dan does
I’d pay money to just sit on a pillow experience this unfold in person. The way she lights up is infectious and incredible to watch.
🙏🏽☺️
I'm more impressed that she doesn't know this song.
Exactly 😂
It's a song for a movie she probably hasn't seen it or been on the Internet all that much
@@HungNguyen-jk5ll she says she's a singer, song writer, composer, music director. I think she should listen to everything she could, even noises. There is no excuse for that.
@@HungNguyen-jk5ll there is literally no way you would not know about Interstellar ... Especially if you work in the field of music
Never watched the film and does not have to be on tik tok wasting her time.
Watching her actually made me cry. Damn, she’s special - and I’ve bever heard of her before now
This is crazy the amount of hard work it takes to realize a feat like we just witnessed on that video. A master of its craft.
Thank you 🙏🏽 😊
YES!
Not enough appreciation for musical genius like this. We need to highlight the musical arts more, it's the soul of humanity
Thank you so much 🙏🏽☺
I totally agree.
There's talent and there's genius.
Musicians of this calibre really should have a genius level youtube genre thing going. Us mere mortals can simply just watch and be amazed. I know I am.

This is jaw dropping and beautiful 💯Thank you Victoria and pianote for this Interstellar performance😅

I literally get emotional watching these videos. To know that there are humans out in this world capable of producing such beautiful things makes my soul feel lighter. Brava to this woman. What. A. Magician.
Aww thank you so much! 🙏🏽☺ I feel the same watching the content creators that I see. There's soooo much talent in the world!
I actually love Victoria’s version of the song from Interstellar.. she’s a genius
*Cornfield Chase
Always loved Victoria Theodore.. my God what a talent.
This is so fun to watch - just unbelievable that she figures it out by ear. Incredibly talented!!!
Thank you 🙏🏽 😊❤
I started smiling because I saw myself at her level even tho I’m a beginner and it doesn’t seem impossible but rather fun to see someone play a song just by ear. 🙏🏽🔥 she’s a truly blessed musician.
Thank you 🙏🏽☺
Whatever instrument you play you learn this skill by doing it. Take an easy melody and try figure it out then keep going on to harder stuff.
Learn common chord progressions, cadences and learn how different intervals sound.

The guts she had to approach that impossible piece was amazing. Fearless and and fearful at the same time. - Hans Zimmer will love it. I'm Shure as a SM58.
I love watching people with personality just enjoy their craft whilst being humbly incredible
Truly inspiring to watch you in your craft, Victoria. Your spirit shows through in this epic rendition of Cornfield Chase and the rest of your work. Y’all gotta check her out!
Thank you so much 🙏🏽☺
I love that Pianote is starting to do this type of video like Drumeo! What a song to learn by ear! My brain gets tired trying to learn to read music, so it's kind of nice to know even super skilled and experienced pianists sometimes face their own brain-tiring challenges!
It was definitely a challenge, but also exciting and fun ☺
I know nothing about music but watching her moved me to tears. Thank you.
My man 😭 she is so good with everything 😫 she fr nailed it with her version. What a talented woman she is!
Thank you so much! 🙏🏽☺
Absolutely loved watching this! Watching a musician just break it down and their process helps me see how they do it.
🙏🏽☺
Victoria!!! I can literally see the endearing smile your dad would get on his face while boasting about how gifted you are as I listen to you play this! This is amazing!!
Brings my heart joy to know that talented people like this exist.
At first I thought by reading the title: interesting but I don’t believe it. But then throughout out the video it seemed more legit. Then when she starts playing OMG! She captured the soul of the song and made little tweaks in the song that still describe and show the soul of the song. doing that from scratch is INSANE! Really inspiring! I’m a fan of Victoria now! Thanks! 🙏🏾🤩
Wow. Thank you so much! 🙏🏽☺
WOWSERS! She was incredible! Talk about motivation, thanks for sharing!
Wow. I just love how Victoria Theodore has so much fun with figuring out the arrangement and then making it her own! Spectacular transcription and playing. Wow!
Thank you 🙏🏽☺
Omg this was so fun to watch!!! I just wish this was a longer vid but overall I loved watching her learn through the song by ear
🙏🏽☺
Totally blown away - an absolutely beautiful rendition - shows she has great skills but even more impressive musical ear. A true musician that has made others who stand in front of her look great.
This is one of my favorite pieces of all time and it was amazing to watch her work through this. I love Pianote!
Pianote is the best! ☺
Insane! I definitely hope to see more of this kind of content. It's a good idea.
Literally held my breath!! Released it, and had tears in my eyes. She is amazing isn't she?!

Loving this... as someone who has very little technical musical knowledge, she let me discover more to this piece. more depth and more variations even after all this time. it's a beautiful homage to a beautiful piece of music.
Thank you 🙏🏽 😊

Honestly big ups to put herself out there testing like a new piano concept, not necessarily getting everything right but instead creating her own interpretation. Somehow I feel like drumming feels a bit easier to actively listen to, but I might be wrong. Super fun to watch!

Glorious, just beautiful. Her laugh while her brain is in overdrive is just magical 😊❤

I fail to understand how a professional piano player has never heard this piece before in so many years. Brilliant nonetheless

Victoria is THE GOAT!! What a wonder to watch her lock in with this beautiful piece and crush it
Thank you 🥹🙏🏽☺️
I've never seen a more beautiful transition from Score to Pop and back to Score. Like a true lesson in the differential of space in music. How music can throw your mind from wanting to focus to instantly wanting to sway and move with it.
Incredible.
This is going down as one of my fav YT vids of all time...because this woman is genius, and beautiful, and my friend! Thank you Pianote for highlighting her brilliance! Now a new subscriber. :)
Thank you, my beautiful and brilliant sis!! 🙏🏽☺💖
This was absolutely incredible to watch. Clearly, Victoria is a master of the piano and playing by ear, but in many ways it gave me faith as a beginner. We experience the same emotions when playing an instrument, whether we are masters or beginners. The important thing is to have the courage to dive in, make mistakes, and enjoy the musical journey.
Thank you! And you're completely correct. One of my favorite things about music is that there's always room for growth. It's a beautiful journey, not a destination ☺
I just want to write once again: what a beautiful piece of music this is (and she nailed it!)
smiling ear to ear watching and listening!!! so awesome!!
Amazing! And genius to play a hans zimmer composition by ear. I also loved her energy.

This is unbelievable. I can't believe that she was able to play this on her first time hearing it. She's soo talented.
Thank you 🙏🏽☺
Dude are you stupid...? This is definitely staged, what kind of pianist never heard Interstellar before
wow. amazing. it's so cool watching her mind work and translate into finger movements. Beautiful.
One amazing thing I learned about music is that knowing it on a technical level doesn't diminish how emotionally engaging it still is. Music is so easy to love.
At a certain point I was quite literally agape listening to her performance...it's not often a performance brings a tear to my eye but this definitely did it.
🙏🏽😊
From one genius (Hans Zimmer) to another (Victoria). Beautifully executed. I didn't know her, she's amazing.

Mix emotions while she do and play her arrangement goosebums 😮
This old man doesn't cry much but that song means a lot to me. I saw Interstellar with my son at an Imax the day the movie was released. I've watched it easily a thousand times since. The soundtrack is something that is lost to me after hearing it so many times. It's just seamless and complete. I've never given thought to "Cornfield Chase" but I instantly knew what part of the movie and of course this hauntingly beautiful piece. What a blessing to be able to listen to something so complicated, watch it broken down into parts, and played not to perfection but prefectly played. Drumeo turned me onto this kind of content and I am so happy it is also done on piano. Happy to sub.
Wow. Thank you for sharing your story, and for your kind words 🙏🏽
Just recently saw it at an IMAX as well. What a difference that made to a living room viewing! The sound, visuals, and everything made me even forget I was in public watching the film; I was just engrained in the movie.
Zimmer is one of my favorite composers. I don't think I could pick a favorite between him, Giacchino, and Elfman.
This was freaking AMAZING to watch! Wow.
🙏🏽☺
I can't believe people can be this talented. Their ears are highly attuned to the sounds of music. I wonder what they hear in their everyday lives without music 😆
She is indeed a cool person. She is definitely a studio musician try not to miss details. This version is so nice to listen everytime I hav goosebumps.
😊🙏🏽
One of my favourite things in music is when you can tell something's being created through pure inspiration, and it still comes out perfect. 6:20 is one of the best examples of that I've ever had the pleasure of listening to.
Wow. Thank you so much 🙏🏽 😊
Beautifully done!
Love the confidence in her note choice. Completely grooving to the fulfilment from music, and isn't that what we all ultimately seek when we play.
🙏🏽☺
This might just be the craziest take I have ever seen!
