I get that they aren't consumables like food as merch but they're still very pricey. I actually cannot remember the last time I saw reasonably priced merch for internet celebrities, esp ones that record themselves doing nothing.
I counted the cookies and stuff and I found out that every single one of her EXTREMELY small cookies cost 25 us cents per piece. For comparison, from the prices that I found (in my country) oreos, which are quite large, cost 7 us cents per piece. Looking at the size differences, if you were to make the oreo smaller and therefore make it cost less, it would probably be somewhere around 2 cents to 1 cent per piece for the size of the myna cookie, which costed 25 cents per piece.

IMO theres nothing wrong with making a healthier alternative to something unhealthy, it can be quite useful for those struggling to stick to a diet.
The problem comes when companies falsely market their products. Pokimanes cookies may be gluten-free (which has no difference unless you have cilliac disease), and have a negligible amount of vitamins, but its loaded in saturated fat, carbs, and sugar. They could have easily made cookies with less fat, less sugar, or just marketed it as a regular cookie. But pokimanes claim that this cookie is one of the few healthy and tasty snacks you can buy is BS.
This has been a crazy fucking week. Gumball v Dream and Rich people cookies v the average citizen. It’s crazy.

The comparison to worse streamers is so pointless there are worse situations constantly it doesn’t mean you don’t get criticism when you mess up too. You choose to sell your life for milllions of dollars every day you show people a part of you and that seems great but you have to remember when you aren’t hurting for money you are usually hurting for something else. These streamers want to act like they should just got millions for no reason. It’s celebrity and it fades you have to learn how to ride the wave when you have it and move on.

At this point its not because of her being a woman although I am sure thats the reason for what is hopefully only a minority, rather it is a gradual build up of people being tired of her character. Not to mention regardless of how it is she gets into so much drama, she simply does. That makes her look so much worse to people on the outside peering in ignoring the fairness of it all. I always find the "You're just attacking *female creator/streamer* because they're a woman/not a male" a tiring defense from the other side. It only works if the creator themselves isn't starting drama or issues, there's several female content creators online who don't get into drama, the reason people like Pokimaine get into drama is because of their own actions. If she didn't feel the need to single out a member of chat, self-justifiably or not, the situation wouldn't have blown bigger than it is.

She pops up in my feed because people are spazzing about something she did. Most of the time I would say I agree with what people are saying.
