As a man with Irish blood running through his veins, I was delighted to see Khabib win tonight. Khabib is the better man and tonight he proved himself to be the better fighter.

I just dislike the way Connor conducts himself. I understand that he is using a persona to hype and promote so he can make more money, but he often comes across as drunk or high on cocaine. Khabib conducts himself as a proper man, of course he lost his temper a little tonight, but that's to be expected with the amount of goading Connor stooped to.

I didn't see a fight, I saw a man holding on to another man. A fight happens on the feet, and as an Irishman I am sad to see my brother beaten, and then beaten from front and behind afterwards. Shameful behavior from Khabib, and even worse from his team. Striking a man from behind is an act of cowardice. Yet Conor didn't press charges - HE is the better man.
To judfge a man, see him in defeat and victory. Khabib can't even win with dignity. Disgraceful.

Khabib had a great gameplan. I knew he wasn't going to walk through strikes like he did with Barboza, but I was impressed with his lateral movement and how well he slipped that counter left hand even while coming forward! He controlled the pace of the fight and even stood in the pocket, which I did not expect. Connor had some success, especially when he attacked the body but his left hand was nullified for the most part. Not sure what the hell happened after the fight though. Khabib shot himself in the foot with that one.
