The worst part is the fact that they set the standard ammo for all the Abrams as HEAT-FS whilst every russian tank at the same tier comes in with ERA that practically negates the Abrams shell.
That's for everyone who isn't Britain or Sweden tho

Its actually easier to apply for a tank crew and drive an abrams that to grind it in war thunder lol

making all 8.7 and higher BR stock shells HEAT was the biggest anti-player move Gaijin ever pulled off and its also soooo russian BIAS to make stock players basically incapable of killing russian tanks because of the reactive armor which funny enough russian tanks get as stock equipment.

Did the same thing with the Leo2av and my journey to the APFSDS was probably the most stressful day of my life, an actual journey through hell
Same except I also had go through the Leo 2PL and Class 3P with the same journey
The Leo 2av grind Was nowhere near as bad as my current grind for the 1a2aim

One of the main thing that put people off this game is the grind i been playing for over a year now and just hit 10.0 BR in my first country

I have over 80 days playtime and have all german vehicles and are currently 8.3 with the Russians and 5.7 USA/UK
Did the same with BMP2M. Despite what people say about it, the stock 2M is PAIN. Even with the missiles. The default belt stinks, no thermals, no LRF and no survivability.
At least you can easily get kills with atgm. Stock heatfs is useless against Russian mbts

i finally unlocked apfsds for my AIM and now its just a matter of getting thermals and LR. HEATFS was a struggle but i made it work with killing leos
I'm in the exact same position with mine, it was somehow my most bearable stock experience yet. Farming Chinese tanks is the best, zero side armor lets heatfs right in

Dang I swear it’s similar on the German bulldog. Stock APDS is so bad it can sometimes nonpen a t34(Russian one) and it’s at 6.3. If it pens it also usually kills one crew at most. It also has no stabilizer and terrible armor. Overall bad experience. Thanks for going through the pain to make this video
lmao, i thought it was just because I was bad but yeah as soon as i got the KE-W my kills per game went up astronomically xD
Same expirience with Leopard PL, like im tier 9 with germany so i decided to take it, it was hell, with the cost of the upgrades being like a low tier vehicle, and russian and chinese ERA Everywhere
Only when you don’t have FPE is when fire starts on your tanks
me remembering how pain full this grind was
when i got this thing the only way i got to the sabo rounds was by getting 1 assist if even and they dying lol
took about 2-3 days to get spaded while playing 3-5 hours per day
Like parts and FPE on high tier tanks should just be unlocked as standard for making it that far early tiers fine but anything remotely modern shouldn't even needed to be unlocked in the first place.
The Australian Army vehicle camo looks way better in real life. War Thunder did us so dirty

Grinding stock british 7.3 is stressfull for me. Especially when uptiered, when some of the enemy posses good rangefinder that ables them to shoot above 1000 accurately.
I can't imagine 9.7 or 10 BR stock grind while up against modern AT Missiles from planes and choppers.
I'm new at this and feel intimidated above 6.0 BR

I got the T80uk and Ik the stick grind was gonna be a pain so I used GE and got the sabo round and grinded everything else gonna do it the the abrams to cause heatfs just ass at this point
This is why I always play on B.R 5.3
