When I got there the owner wanted to cut down the branch so that next year it would produce lower fruit easier to harvest and they also grafted another type of lychee with better quality. They are not stupid people like some people don't understand.

O certo é avisar o dono a plantar novas sementes quando a árvore tiver ± um metro e ½ de altura é que se faz o enxerto, digo isso pois onde trabalho os agricultores faz essa técnica do enxerto nas árvores novas. In India we also do this to big trees.....if it is not grafted or hybrid. We stream the branches for short height. Indigenous variety fruit trees are also very very good. Nowadays agricultural technology is so good....we get variety of food in short plant. In India we are getting This variety fruit plant....fruit are very big quantity is huge but taste is not so great.......this is my opinion. I like your blog because of organic in nature and cool, calm environment.

Vietnamese Lychees are quite good and the dried Lychees are great! I love Thailand Lychees! They cannot be deniable! Sweet, juicy, thick core, and small seed! 😋
There smart like you are in what you did when you first started your farm and now look at were you are , I love the way you keep your farm free of pesticides, everything natural. The way life should be hard work and live off the land . I truly wish I could live like you do .

The color is beautiful and they are large fruit. The pruning was VERY severe. I would like to see that tree at this time next season. Will it recover and bear fruit or will it die? Only time will tell. I hope you save seeds from the best fruit you can find and start your own lychee trees in pots for your farm. Then one day you will have lychee trees too. If you have fruit trees you must learn proper pruning methods to keep the trees in control. This giant tree was out of control. Hi Robert What a lot of beautiful lychees, so colourful and looking absolutely delicious. The way you tied up the lychee into small bundles made them super attractive and appetising. It was no wonder the whole lot was sold in a short space of time. I expect the tree will bear a lot of lower hanging fruits next year now that it has had a good prune. The farm owner did a good job. I love the atmosphere in the highland market - so vibrant and uplifting!

If I was there in that forest along with you , I would eaten a lot. But no chance, no luck. Actually it grows only in summer season and ripens only in that season.

Acho que você viu o vídeo e não entendeu o motivo de cortar os galhos, árvores altas difícil de colher as frutas no alto com os galhos balançando com os ventos é perigoso se não tiver experiência. Árvore Perigosa em dias de tempestades com fortes ventos e chuvas torrenciais, pois ela pode cair e derrubar as casas em baixo.
