It's _insane_ when you think about the sheer number of knock-offs this game has inspired. Right now, even the mobile app stores are plagued with too many watered down concepts of this true gem of a game.
little did you know that vampire survivors by itself is a knockoff of magic survival that is a old mobile game
@@danielsuper8840 yeah I discovered this genre of game because of magic survival, I think the maker of vampire survivor also said they based the game on it.

It's odd to think that at least one of the better 'knock-offs' is a fan game about online internet avatar youtubers
I mean vampire survivors is just what got caught in media. Like many things, Japan has already had the genre for years.
A small note: I have no idea if the maker of the game is italian or just got his hands on an italian vocabulary, but most weapons and characters have horribly mangled italian names. "Santa water" is a half translation of "acqua santa" ("Holy water"), "Mortaccio" means "evil dead", "pishone" is a mispronunciation of "piccione" ("Pigeon") and so on and so forth.
How do I know? Well, it just so happens that I AM italian.
This was a video I was not expecting but also can't wait for chaos to ensue.

For anyone who cares, fruits are the fleshy, seed-bearing products of plants. Vegetables are roots, stems, and leaves. Some fruits that are often confused for vegetables because of their flavor include tomatoes, cucumbers, avocados, and squash. The confusing distinction is between fruits and legumes (like peas, beans, and peanuts) which are also seeds but aren't considered fruit.
Most importantly, corn is not a vegetable. Corn is a grain like rice or oats.

maybe don't yell. If you want your friends to enjoy something you like, let them explore the game first and make mistakes before telling them how to play it. It makes for a nicer experience for first time players. - Jas
Once evolved, Garlic can be a real game changer.
Do you guys know that you could EVO more then your first weapon? It does not seem like you noticed. You want to EVO all weapons. And some weapons, like the whip have a double evo with another whip into the ultimate healing whip and you are able to collect another weapon after that because your whips merged.

You don't always want to evo all weapons. Sometimes the trinket needed is not worth it.
I played similar game like this called "NOMAD SURVIVAL", can also play co-op but don't have anyone to invite 😅. The power or skill I prioritize is AURA related for AOE DMG and upgrading it gives me wide range and more dmg, very helpful for me 😁
I’m not sure if this has been said or if it’s known but for Evolutions you need the corresponding weapon at max (level 8 I believe) and the correct passive item at any level. This will get your the Evo after your next chest letting you level up the passive items later.

im pretty late but some weapons that you get on the later-game DO require that you get it's required passive at MAX level

11:31 You don't need to level EVERYTHING up, just the weapons involved.. The sub items (passive buffs like increased radius or more duration) don't need to be maxed out with exception to a few weapon synergies..

It can only ruin if you want something not upgraded for the effect it gives compared to the upgrade.

So in multiplayer it caps the number of items each one can have. Interesting.
Santa water might be seeming slow because you dont have all the other buff items to combo with.
Just to clarify, Price is correct about the vegetable and fruit thing, a vegetable by scientific definition is any part of a plant which is not the reproductive portion of a plant, and fruit the mature ovary of a plant, some common fruits misidentified as vegetables are peppers, tomatoes and melons.
Fun little fact; by these definitions, flowers that are edible, are considered vegetables, such as broccoli and cauliflower

Technically a vegetable is an Edible Leaf or Stem.
Ex: lettuce, spinach, asparagus, celery.
Garlic is a "bulb" which is technically a type of stem so garlic is a vegetable!
Onions are also bulbs but potatoes are roots.
Therefore potatoes are not vegetables.

I would love to see the return of Sailor Bone!!!!! It was too short of a time spent with the most amazing Skeleton. I loved just the whole of the multiplayer aspect and maybe if you manage to complete a level you open up more item slots hm?

Doesn't seem like it! That's why it shows a little picture of the character who needs that item for the evo. It's there to let you know that you'll ruin someone else's evo if you take it. -Ash
Santa water really needs extra aoe to go crazy
And duplicator for extra puddles. And empty tome to make it pop up faster. I believe projectile speed is what affects how fast it get pulled into the player?
@@Golladan not sure about the speed, but spellbinder is also a cool thing to have. with duplicator+empty tome+spellbinder the entire screen is pretty much all covered all the time haha

There's now a demo of 'Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor' which is a DRG take on this style of game. It's kinda neat, but only single-player.
I am going to play this with my 2 cousins tomorrow. Actually, I think 3 people has the best synergy. Normally you get 6 weapons and 6 passives for a total of 12 items. 2 people is 4/4, 3 people is 3/3, and 4 people is 2/2. With 3 players, you technically get a total of 9/9 then, so 18 items as a group instead of 12. If we choose our characters wisely and strategically select items, I think it should be more powerful than 1 player. I will try to check back and edit this with the results. I have 24.4 hours into the game so far and have acquired 75/135 items with some of them being Arcanas. I am curious how skips/banish/revives work and if it will be easier to get achievements with 3 players working as a team instead of 1 solo.

Just an fyi it looks like you can't have full builds in co op. So you can only have 2 weapons and 2 passives so you have to be SUUPER careful which passives you pick if you want to get the upgraded weapons.
Also the birds are terrible unless u upgrade them XD SO unless you start with a bird it's really not worth it XD

The most mind-blowing part of this video is when you hear a grown adult say that garlic isn't a vegetable because it's a spice. As if most spices don't come from plants. 🤦🤦🤦💀💀💀 . Garlic is literally a type of onion. The picture for it in the game is literally a garlic clove.

You could play it 1-player, 2-player, 3-player, or 4-player! When you are in the Character Selection screen, there is a "enable co-op" button at the top of that screen, and then other players can join in. -Ash

I hate coop games like this , it's just so unfair and terrible , full health players shouldn't be able to pick up health items cuz they're full health , also level ups should happened to everyone , cuz it's multiplayer , it's only fair , same the weapon upgrade , everyone should have it , why only one person per chest , it's so not fair , the monsters getting stronger so quick and the players are very behind and couldn't progress well cuz the levels and upgrades are not distributed fairly
