I got to see her coffin drive by on her way home to Buckingham Palace. It was truly a beautiful moment with the hearse all lit up so we could all see her coffin. People cheered and clapped. She was an amazing lady who dedicated her life to her country. R.I.P.

Having spent 7 years in England with the USAF myself and family gained great respect and admiration for Queen Elizabeth II. As a child I watched her Coronation and never thought I would get to England. I send my sincere sympathy to the people of the United Kingdom. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your hour of sorrow.

I would not mind to serve too and have all the commodities and good life they have. Would be great to get good living being a king or queen so at the end dosent really look like serving. Maybe the English people serve them.

@@hujat3939 if you don’t realize what her life meant, I would recommend reading a biography about her written by Lady Colin Campbell. She gave up more than she got. I don’t think there are many people in the world today that could live their life in a fishbowl, receiving hate and scorn every day of your life. It would take someone with a very strong constitution and low ego to successfully manage such a all encompassing existence. She certainly did not wish to have this, neither did her father. That just adds to the extraordinarily humble woman she was and her daughter is. Duty before anything else, on her scale is unimaginable.
@@hujat3939 she kept up to date with what was happening in Parliament nearly every day, read and signed correspondence, was patron of over 800 charities, visited 10s of thousands of places always showing intrest and ready to make conversation with people from all backgrounds, met world leaders both at home and abroad, and didnt stop up to 2 days before her death at 96 when most people her age have been taking it easy for a decade or 2.

I was fortunate enough to see The Beloved Queen II, back in 1971. When Dad took us the Family to visit our Grandparents & Auntie. Father was from the East end of London. He revisited many times. His favorite place was Edinburgh, Scotland. He did a Marathon there before he became too old. In fact Edinburgh was his last race completed. We visited the Buckingham Palace here. Mom was very excited! We all were. I always loved and respected the Queen. So my heart goes out to the Royal family. My heart is in tears. I wished I had been a part of this. I'm pleased with internet . I can proudly say we saw the Queen II💙💜🙏💔😢😢

I'm British and don't know anyone who's sayed at home after their death so people can visit. It might have been done in the past but rarely now.
