I'm sorry but this is sort of a joke. I love skating Portland, love all the homies out there shredding and killing it. But WTF. How, after all these accolades, Nike headquarters, CCS, etc. being in pdx, I repeat how is there not ONE covered street plaza? At least have the decency to cover Ed Benedict. Come on Portland we can do better than this.
We all been to Cal skate shop 🤙🏽 Theres like 5 public skateparks in portland, without counting those private warehouses but in oregon overall; we have about 100 parks. Some parks are a max ride away.
Portland literally has Burnside and that's it. We experience rain for a majority of the year, and we have less than 5 covered/indoor parks. There's next to no street spots; those that do exist have grind blockers and high kickout rates. Total fluff piece and prime Portland arrogance. As much as I hate Cali, it unironically is the skateboarding capital of the US. Dry weather year round, legendary spots, and skateparks on every block. There's a reason many pros live in Cali.
