great video :]
I hope everyone has a good day 😁
guzel!
Wonderfullll!!!!!!!!!! Perla.
(0.25) You made a mistake, I think. You explained the word of "haram" and it really means 'forbidden'. But the word that you wanted to explain was probably "harem". Then you made the right explanation of harem(seraglio). And sometimes we use it to refer one's wife. A Turkish man can call his wife 'harem'.
Thanks for that beatiful video. I want to thank to especially her who explaines the reality of harem. Thanks for everything. Who knows maybe one day I can also discover this palace. Good Bye.
Thanks for letting us know! Confusing😅
Wow
We want more about the history of the Sultans and Topkapi palace
Please get things right. The windows are Leadlight. Tiny pieces of glass adhered in their patterns with lead in between. Strained glass is painted. Some are a hybrid of both - but these, in the Topkapi Palace are not. They are Leadlight.
After watching magnificient century😛
Istanbul, our heaven!!!!
😍😍😍
Since you wanted to know....Meet little Topkapi 👸...I know it's a lot. It was overwhelming for me too. And we can't forget....
never mind it is cool
POGGERS
Harem in arabic doesn't mean "forbidden" which is (Haram) , it means "women"
Hassane Elayyadi Whites lol. 😂😂
Hareem is the plural of "harumm" which means wife/female part of the family. The word Hareem is actually derived from "Haraam" which means forbidden.
How could he so confidently mistake the meaning of the word?
@@tanzeelamariam3421 dont blame it on the sunshine, dont blame it on the moonlight, dont blame it on the good times... blame it on his whiteness
apakah sooting king sulaiman dilakukan sepenuhnya disini?
Janissaries are the elite soldiers and also the police/fire fighter in Istanbul. The elites amond Janissarries which are "Solaklar" they are the pesonal guards of the emperor, Solak means "Left handed" they are called lefthanded because they can wield bow, use sword/spear and many weapons with both hands to protect the emperor from assults coming from all directions during battle and peace time. Thats why no Ottoman emperor died during battle.
You are wrong before sultan selim ll many sultans died during war except sultan suleman
Hello everyone looks like we are all doing a DBQ😅
Thanks Gallagher
The topkapi palace is a budful medieval place I am 16 I am going to go there when I am 23
Is this palace safe from earthquake or effected ?
Harem in arabic doesn't mean "forbidden" which is (Haram) , it means the house of women
Although I agree with you on one level we often forget that the ottoman empire did not come from nowhere it grew from within the Byzantine empire, So the Ottoman empire is more the child of the Greeks than a stranger. A child which usurped the mother. a lot of the current heritage arguments stem from the modern Turkish/Greek conflict, in truth they are both equally entitled to claim. Same people, different ideals. I'm not Turkish or Greek and I'm not arguing, just sharing my insights.
Good grief! WHERE did you get that nonsense from? Please please look at your history, linguistic history and genetic history. You are so far off, I'm going to say read historical publications that are published OUTSIDE the US. It's people like you creating nonsense because you 'feel' you're right and your thoughts make sense to you. The Byzantine Empire has its roots in ROMAN history. The people in Byzantium called themselves Romans for a really long time. Their alphabet is Phoenician based, as in the Roman alphabet. Remember there was no Greece just a bunch of city states.

3:09 just to correct you he’s not singing he’s reciting.
why?
yooo cancholas class were you at?
One question. The sultan had a group of elite soldiers . anyone know who they were
The Janissary (singular) The Janissaries (plural)
Çıkın çıkın gelin, çıkın çıkın gelin.
I would love to go and see all relics of the prophets ( upon whom be peace)
To this day the Croatians are some of the strongest athletes. The jannissaries were often young boys taken from Croatia and other nearby countries. They were raised by the Ottomans to become one off the most powerful armies of the era.
It's not just soldiers, intelligent children became statesmen. Actually the greatest warriors are sipahis and akinjis but janissaries succeeded.
Vay be bizim ülke amk
Türkler geçmişlerini unutuyor
No matter who I marry, nobody is getting Topkapi palace. I'm the only queen of that palace.

What lies, what lies, what lies
iftira olmasın o sakın...
We dont sing Quran, we recite! Clear that!
It is funny, the most beautiful place in Turkey has nothing to do with Turkey...."Istanbul" (comes from the Greek phrase "ις-την-πολη" than means "In the city") was a Greek city (660 BC) where the Roman Emperor Constantinos decided to move the Capital of Eastern Roman Empire (330 AD). Ottomans took over the city in 1453 AD but it is weird to say that Istanbul makes u proud as Turkish...It is like saying that your culture sacks since ur favorite city's origins have nothing to do with real Turkey
jmcdarland shut up
lul :D didnt Greeks invade Anatolia ? you have to learn some histroy bro
You think we care? 🤣
