The title of this video should read, Top 5 Backgammon Sets for under $100.
Baloney. The only decent set on there is the Silverman, and that’s if you’re on an extreme budget. If you really want a nice set, and have the money, go with these:
1. Gammoner
2. FM Gammon
3. Backgammon Galaxy Earth Board (made by FM Gammon)
4. Crisloid
5. FTH
Good post Jeff. I have the Silverman, and I’m glad I spent the $125 on it to get a decent set. The ones you mention in addition to it are really nice sets for a bigger budget.
Geoffrey Parker and Zazza and Sacci are great too if you want leather. But very pricey. Best value for me is FTH.
What a joke
Unfortunately most of us on an "extreme budget" aren't even in the $100 plus category. I've been scouring amazon as well as other retailers trying to find something under $100 that's going to serve me well and have good quality but it's terribly difficult. There are us out there who cannot afford hundreds for a game board.
It would be very interesting to know the opinions of users about the best custom premium boards.

All in different price points so do your research but all well regarded in their own price points.

What is this? I just sold a very nice set you can add the price of all 5 of these up multiply it by 5 and then buy one of the actual top 5 sets...Used
The creator of this video must have just google “backgammon sets” and then made a video of what ever shows up. When showing off some of they boards they used clips from completely different boards then they were describing. “This board come with a luggage style handle” proceeds to show a board with a small leather strap, no handle, then a leather handle with two metal rings.
