Thanks for your testimony. I pastored a church 22 yrs and left the "right way" to a larger church with a contract. Leaving was tortuous. Raising 4 kids while there, that church is "family" forever. The new church is more like a "job". I have no doubt I had to leave my old church. My advice, don't leave if you don't have to. And don't leave until your children are grown. That is the worst, if they are not.
