Ive pre ordered the SBH52 which has the added functionality of being used as a handset for at least two connected phones...
Thanks for the review...do you know if I can activate google voice commands (i.e. "ok google") from SBH50? And can I do it without plugging in the headphones?
Good day buddy, Thank you for ur video( Subscribed)....Am just confused with which headset to buy...... this is my first stereo headset was using plantronics voyager legend ..now i decided to go in for a stereo.....So, wanna pick from Sony MW600/ MW1 / SBH50 / SBH52 ...i know there is huge difference in the pricing.......But as this is my first stereo headset, shud i go in for the the best or shud i try the simpler MW600 or SBH 50.....
My prime requirements are in this order; Good connectivity (no compromise: in both aspects of distance range & anywhere in house with walls in between ), Call clarity, good Sound & music, expandable memory, Voice commands, Notifications reminders....pelase reply me was soon as possible
If you can give any other Bluetooth recommendation..i would appreciate it buddy....

This thing is simply EPIC... I use it and the sound quality and the range is mind blowing... the NFC is pretty smart thing to use... i just tap on the back of my nexus 5 and it launches the walkman or preferred music playing app and also turn on the sbh50 and gets auto paired... Noise isolation is pretty damn kool... i never expected it that good for such cheap price (got that for 80 bux) . just download couple of sbh50 app on your fone from play store and create your profile, you're all set... i've used MANY other receivers but sony is kickass... It reads you the status of your facebook, can dial the numbers from this, read the texts and of course the radio... the battery is also long lasting one... so if you wanna get one, just go for it... don't hesitate...
PS: the only drawback is , it doesn't turn off automatically when it's unused or not in range or you turn off the bluetooth of your fone and leave that disconnected .

I just ordered this yesterday I'm hopping all the function work with my nexus 5.
have used with the nexus 5 and can confirm everything works... just need to install the sony app from the play store... enjoy! :)

Hello, I just bought the SBH50 recently and I was just wondering, have you tried using the headset for internet calls like Skype? I have tried using it while connected to my iPod touch and 2 out of 3 tries the audio input and output quality is horrible. Any advice regarding that? I also wanted to know if you have been successful in connecting multiple devices. I have tried it but I keep getting errors.
Are you able to use external source input in case you connect headphones with embedded microphone?

Hey ash i had used sony MW600 & MW1 before.
MW1 sounds great. ....
But i faced trouble to get better fit with MW1 and also when you move here and there with it,
It make unpleasant noise and sensation due to uncomfortable fit. (i think it is due to new design of ear piece in mw1 )
So i sold it but now i want to get a new stereo bluetooth with great sound quality & comfort also..
So should i get sbh50, sbh 52, sbh80,jabra tag or any other suggestions

HI man, I use to have the old version, mw600, I love them except one thing, you can't charge it and use it at the same time, and the slider volume, was not very helpfull, I can see this one has volume buttons, but can you charge it and use it at the same time?

That icon in the settings is factory reset. I figured out how to do it, though. Just hold the power button when it's off, till the Bluetooth icon appears. Thanks anyway.

Hello Can any one please advice me which bluetooth is better i had Sony MW1 now i am wanna switch to something more good and loud and has extra features. did anyone tested Sony SBH50 and Nokia BH-121 ?? i am was looking for Aptx techology which not exist in both device or is any one know bluetooth recived like SBH20, 50 were we have 3.5 jack Bluetooth ver 4 and aptx tech ? Anyone having issues with the extra features (text notifications, call log) on a LG Nexus 5? I installed the software on my phone but it doesn't show up in the notification bar. With another phone (sony xperia z2) it does work perfectly fine, so maybe it's not supported on LG Nexus 5 devices?

I need something like this but, i don't like that clip thing. I'd like to wear it like a necklace since oftentimes i'm just wearing a t-shirt and there is nowhere to clip it. Can anyone suggest me a headset with OLED display but without the clip?
sony ericsson had a few... I dont remember the model numbers sorry, but I highly suggest you stay away from them since the cables started getting messed up within a year and since it directly goes around your neck, no 3.5mm jack and hence no option to replace... my suggestion.. if you want small unobtrusive ones, forget the display and get the bluebuds x, if you want a display get this one :)
I got Sennheiser MM200. Sound quality is ridiculously good. And it can play music for ~10 hours. But necklace design is not good for working out. I was interested in both Bluebuds and Plantronics BackBeat Go2 s. But Bluebuds are too expensive backeat's battery life is too short.After searching around for 3 days, i gave up on the idea. Currently there are not good headsets for me it appears.
