Robert was joking with my wife the first day of the event, giving her a hard time about not wanting to get in front of everyone to take a picture with us. I'm sorry for your loss. He was enjoyable to be around even only for the few minutes we were around him. I'll be praying for you guys, and I appreciate the work yall put into this event. I couldn't believe how well it all went considering the massive amount of people who showed up. No complaints from our family.

I talked to Rob on Wednesday at the boat ramp while waiting in line for registration. He came right up to my truck and immediately knew I was a veteran. We talked for a good 5 minutes about the military and where I was from. Rest in Peace Brother
I was devastated by Roberts passing. What a great man, I was a scout master with him in Roy Ut. He was a great example to my boys and me. It was so good to see him in the video. He will truly be missed.
My deepest condolences to Robert's wife and the whole MORR family. Robert seemed to be the heart and soul of the event. His energy and smile seems infectious, and ensured everyone was feeling excitement at the event.

Thoroughly enjoyed volunteering and attending the games this weekend. What a terrific amount of organization and effort to pull this off. I didn't know him but it made me cry seeing the tears in Matt's eyes and hearing it in his voice . Sending prayers to Robert and his wife and family ❤️ May the Lord watch over his family in these days to come .

We had a blast at the games, thank you to all the people, hours, sweat and tears that got put into this. We met Robert in line at pre-registration and he was so nice. We saw the emergency vehicles and life flight, but were too high up the mountain to see what had happened, and were sad to later hear that he didn’t make it. What’s weird about being a CZcams fan, is we feel like we know you and know you family and pets, so when we meet you it’s like talking to a familiar person, but you have no idea who we are 😊
I have to admit, I've only passively watched this channel in the background. My husband is an avid fan & when he said he wanted to attended, I reluctantly agreed. I wasn't even sure how to describe what we were going to do. Well, you have a new subscriber in me! It was silly & fun & everyone was so nice. My husband got a picture with Matt & Jaymie on day 1 with the tow truck. I was super impressed with how accessible they were. They stood there for HOURS so everyone in line could get a photo with them. We did stand in line for the official photo op, but Lizzie & Tom left right before we got there. I can't even imagine how tired they all were. Even with the loss of their friend, Robert, the show went on. They honored him on the morning & evening of day 3 and then pressed on to keep the energy level high. Classy. My deepest sympathy to his friends & family. Watching this episode on the chaos behind the scenes, I'm even more impressed with how smooth everything went from a spectators view. PS, Holly - we were the ones stationed in England & had the lady recognize my corvette jacket and turns out I was friends with her Aunt. My Great Grandmothers name is Olga! Yet another thing we have in common. Fun to talk to you!! Great job everyone! I'm glad I went!
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone on team MORR. I know the pain you are feeling right now is very strong, but I can tell you that it will get better. The pain will lessen, and eventually the good memories will be stronger than the pain. I know this to be true, as I lost my wife of 32 years, 2 years ago. R.I.P. Robert.

Every volunteer was kind and welcoming. Super appreciate the efforts. It’s easy to overlook mass confusion and chaos when folks are just so dang nice. Thanks to the volunteers, MORR, and the towns of Hurricane & St. George. The wrecker games was amazing!

So sorry to hear about Robert. I've been watching some of the early, unpolished videos of the Off Road Wrecker Games by other CZcamsrs, and I figured the emergency helicopter flight was either for somebody having a heart attack or slipping off a rock. I never imagined that it would be so serious. You have my deepest sympathy. It's so hard to lose somebody. Please make his family aware of the condolences from all these well-wishing strangers, including myself.

My condolences to Robert’s family. As in the first of October I had an medical emergency that put me in the ER twice in four days and then in surgery just before Christmas, hearing of Robert’s passing strikes very close to home for me. Robert’s and friends will be in my thoughts and prayers. I am sure he will be greatly missed. Take care all.
I served with Robert on the USS Coronado and he was my brother I law for many years. Very good man. RIP brotha.

If this is going to become an annual event, maybe have a special award at the end for the best team co operation or something. Call it the Robert Blake Team Award . As you said he was a huge part of making the event happen.Just a thought.

Matt you’re so generous, many guys have been posting videos about the games all throughout the games but you weren’t trying to take the limelight away from anyone, u gave them a platform to grow and prosper 🎉, I think condolences are in order for Robert but I think he went a happy man in all the fun a man could ask for in his last day
Matt's crew is way too busy to post, but I am sure the videos out there were approved (can't stop the spectators) . I am sure Matt asked everyone to not leak too much and, by and large, I think folks have respected that 👽

Robert sounded like he was a joyous man who shared his love and enthusiasm with the world. May he rest in peace. The first event like this is very difficult. You learn what works and make changes. This was a huge number of people to get in one place for a multiple day event. You all should be proud of what you accomplished.

A very touching heartfelt tribute to Robert, it's never easy when you lose a member of your extended family and judging from the grief he was loved very much indeed.
As I was watching the video, that was the first time I'd ever seen Robert... As he was directing traffic he was joyful and upbeat in what he was doing, I thought it was wonderful that he was bringing Joy to others even while directing them where they needed to go, that made me smile 😊 thanks Robert God Speed Man😇... My sincere condolences to all of his family and friends...

A message for Matt… a few things you should add to your WLORW wrecker.
1. A potable water tank, hose, and pump… this could save you, or your crews life should they get stuff in the sticks. It would also be handy in many other ways.
2. A couple real fire extinguishers suitable for fires you are likely to encounter, a large CO2 and a powder one for fuel fires.
3. A stash of non perishable food.
4. A small refrigerator for bottled water and snacks .
5. Some kind of vehicle mounted 2 way radio to reach out when your phones don’t work.
Good job on building a remarkably capable vehicle.
I had a great time at the games, especially helping out as a volunteer and working with Greg and Jodi, plus Shannon, Stormy, Russell, Jake and many others. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Robert before his passing. It was a tragic time during the event, but it was amazing seeing how the community pulled together during that time and supported the MORR team.
Condolences to Robert's Family, his MORR Family, and to his friends. I can't imagine having such a tragedy at what was supposed to be a fun event for all of the CZcamsrs and their families to meet with fans an show-off their trucks.
So much going on, it's amazing how it all comes together.
My heart hurts for Robert and his family, people I've never even met. Even from the little part in the video, you can tell he is a genuinely good person. Rest in Peace brother.
I've been watching snippets from the games posted by others here on CZcams, and we've all seen the build and "training" videos and now the tremendous effort from behind the scenes. The central team at MORR should all be immensely proud of what they created.
But mixed emotions too.
Such a gut punch then to see the normally jovial, all smiles Matt so upset. So sorry for the loss of one of the MORR family, my thoughts are with you all.

We had a lot in common in that Robert was still serving in the military, and I was retired, and Robert was also a federal civil servant, and I had just retired from civil service. My condolences on the passing of Robert. He looked like he was a great guy from the video. Celebrate his life and all the great memories and cherish the time spent with him. Those memories will preserve his spirit for eternity.

I had a fun weekend at the event. I thought it was very well done. I only met Robert once when we were registering. He was instantly welcoming to us. He represented Matt’s Off Road very well. Praying comfort and blessings for his family and his friends.
Astonishing! The amount of work needed just in organizing the event. Thanks to Matt and Morr team. Sometimes the unexpected happens. Robert has passed, but will remain a cherished, husband, father, friend, team member, and be in memories of all who knew him. God Bless Robert.

I want to say Thank God for leading me to your videos. I have been watching MORR for a couple years now & I have truly come to love the group like family. The have truly been an inspiration for me as I battle chronic pain syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis which leaves me sitting and dealing with daily battles. Your shows have taken me to another level and make me feel better just watching it.
I’ve prayed many times that God would allow me the privilege of being able to come and meet y’all. That would definitely be a dream come true. Your videos have brought me joy and happiness each time I turn the old tv on.

Very sorry to hear of your loss! Good people and good friends are hard to come by and you can never have too many of either. One of the gals said they expect 3500 people.. I heard on a video that there were 5000 there!!! Great turn out!! Can't wait to see all the videos and find out how everyone did!! The amount of planning and work involved in putting this all together must have been overwhelming! Congratulations on making it all happen goes to EVERYONE INVOLVED including all the tow truck drivers, helpers and their FAMILIES!!!!!

I was especially impressed with your ability to adapt quickly to the registration challenges. The games far exceeded my expectations. I also want to thank the competitors for their patience, friendliness and enthusiasm and for making themselves available for thousands of fans. It was a great family friendly event. I think everyone shed a few tears at the closing ceremonies during Jefe’s moving tribute to Robert. My deepest sympathies to the entire MORR family. Finally the “largest off road wrecker “ which was impressive beyond expectations! Consistent, reliable very easy to manipulate all types of terrain challenges for a variety of drivers!

Matt, and Crew... this whole experience, from start of wrecker build to the footage beginning to roll in, has been amazing. What an incredible journey you've taken us all on. Thank you so much, it's truly inspirational.

No words. The wrecker is awesome. I can feel your sadness and I pray for healing in this time of mourning. Genuine human beings like Robert are very hard to come by. Of course I did not know him but I can tell what kind of man he was to have left a positive mark on the people in his life. All we can do when we lose someone in our lives is remember them and keep them in our hearts.

So very sorry to hear about Robert. I am sure he had pure joy in his soul and a smile on his face out doing something that he loved and being part of this event. It makes us realize that we need to get out and live our very best lives and make sure those that we love know it. We so enjoy watching you work as a team, sharing your life and your love and friendship for each other. What you have is very special and Robert was all a part of that. I know the next few days will be hard but know that You all are in our thoughts and prayers
Everyone behind the scenes did a fabulous job getting this event planned, setup, and completed. Not surprising Jefe was instrumental in making this such a huge success. I was there to witness the games. One would never guess this was the first time these games were put on. There were a couple hiccups. But, most of it were how much time things would take. Those things will be tweaked in future games. Just the fact that the preregistration had to be moved at the last minute could have sent the whole thing into chaos. But, those behind the scenes did a wonderful job jumping in and coming up with Plan B. When I came through I had no idea this was Plan B. It was smooth with lines being divided to maximize the number of cars moving through. GREAT JOB TO ALL THE PLANNERS AND VOLUNTEERS!

Is awesome to see all the hard work before the actual event!! THIS EVENT, was really amazing, well organized from the Humvee rides, to the Can-am shuttle services, and the food vendors! (*not even the weather mattered!!) So glad we were able to make it and meet some of y’all! I was a fan but this made much sweeter!

I'm so very impressed with the MORR team pulling this event together and getting it done. Organizing an event of this magnitude as a first of its kind is a huge undertaking. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes that most have no clue about. I applaud your efforts and I hope it was all worth it.

That took me as a bit of a shock, so sorry to hear the news about Robert. It sounds like the event was a success, in huge part to Robert, and at least he was doing something he loved while surrounded by friends and people having good time.

I am truly sorry for your loss. As a fellow man of faith I am praying for the family. How heartbreaking it has to be to loose a friend. Our prayers go out to you and especially the family. Thank you for putting out a channel that my family can watch and not have to cringe because of the content. Family friendly shows are so needed right now and I can’t thank you guys enough for putting out fun to watch videos that I don’t have to worry if kids can watch them. Again I’m truly sorry for your loss.
