In this video we talk about how strict is Dubai, and the reality of the Dubai laws and strictness of the city and country of the United Arab Emirates. I've been living in Dubai for a while now, and before I moved to Dubai I had many misconceptions on how life would be like living in Dubai. I thought it would be this super strict muslim nation with stringent laws and restrictions, but to my pleasant surprise, it's very different to what I imagined.
In this video I discuss what you shouldn't do in Dubai, what situations to look out for, what clothing is appropriate for which places, and in general what to do about the strictness of Dubai. I also discuss personal behavior like public displays of affection that might affect your daily life in Dubai.

I’ve lived in Dubai and it’s fantastic. Generally I am a person who respects the laws of the country that I visit or live in so I didn’t find the Laws of Dubai any challenging. I would recommend Dubai to anyone 👍🏽

Dubai is one thing... but aren't laws and practices very different from emirate to emirate in the UAE? I mean, it's no secret that Sharjah is a very conservative place. As concerns alcohol, I remember that Umm-al-Quwain was the only emirate where you could buy it in a shop, "off licence" as the British say. But I haven't been to the UAE for ten years, so things may have changed.

I lived in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 20 years. So I know how the Muslim Religion works. They pray five times a day, that's why you hear those chants every now and then. And the black dress that women wear is called "Abaya". It's not actually a dress or gown persay 😅
