    Just hit 4500miles on my 2021 Turbo Levo Comp alloy. Amazing bike climbs just about anything (including VT mountains). Haven’t changed much after first fitting (grips, saddle etc). Works really well right out of the box and is pretty durable. I do recommend replacing the chain often (

    I think the bike is super fun. I'm a mechanic at a dealership and frequently hit up our demo fleet. I rode the alloy and switched to a carbon comp mid ride. When we switched bikes we made some suspension adjustments which really helped. I can't tell any difference in the ride as long as the bike is dialed in. One thing for sure a 63 year old retired crit racer can still have fun on the new bike trails

    My buddy bought a turbo levo carbon expert and recently got something caught in his chain and it ripped the derailer off of the frame and destroyed the frame, the derailer, and the wheel. I'm really happy with my alloy frame! I I got my derailer caught up but it only cost me a $20 derailer hanger.

    I’m not sure why so many have mixed feelings about the code brakes. After doing some research. I found out that the code r’s and rsc’s run the same calipers. After swapping just the levers from the code r’s to rsc’s, which is super easy for those DIY’ers. I’m loving my code rsc. I also upgraded my rotors to the sram HS2 rotors. I still kept it the stock size front and rear because i felt like they were more than enough braking power for this big boy weighing in at 215lbs at 5’11. I have the S4 same bike as yours. Love this bike ❤. Keep up the good content. Love watching your vids bro.

    Definitely one of the best mid power eMTB out on the market. I changed the tires to Maxxis Assegai front and Minions DHR IIs and got a OneUp Carbon bar and this thing handles and grips much better than before.

    Anyone know what the difference is between the Levo's currently on sale vs the new releases coming online back at full (but seemingly slightly reduced MSRP). Dropped into my first e-bike this year (Turbo Vado 5.0 IGH) and I am totally sold now on the concept enough to retire my StumpJumper Comp and head to a Levo Comp.

The Code R’s going to my hardtail xc bike. These double piston breaks should give the xc bike more than enough stopping power. Now waiting for delivery of the Levo. Can’t wait!

    Love your breakdown videos! I am having a hard time deciding between this one and the Kenevo expert with dual crown boxxer fork for SoCal trails like Greer, Vail, Etc. and Snow Summit. Everything I read says no downside to the Kenevo in climbing and especially plows the downhill. Both about 5600 and no tax was going on the 4th. I think that is over but the sale is still on. Whatcha think?

    • @frankiesemtb
      @frankiesemtb  Před 11 měsíci

      Nice! I would definitely pick the Levo over the Kenevo here in SoCal. The kenevo will perform better at summit but once bike park season is over your back to climbing especially at Vail.. greer isn't too bad but i can already see myself cursing on a few of the switch back with a dual crown
