And stories like that I cant even finish listening too. Elmer Wayne Henley was part of a trio of serial killers. He was a teen helping to abduct his school friends for his adult friend to rape then help murder. And he's still alive and in prison. Together those 3 raped killed upwards of 30 teenage boys in various ways. Henley has apologized in a sense but he has also been known to show very little regard to the lives he has taken and even laughs about it in occasion.

It depicted a little girls torture and sexual assault, I’ve never seen it and never want to but the few people that have said it scarred them mentally. The guy who made it enlisted the help of other teen Philippine girls to go out and scout out children who were hungry and offered them a meal but really tortured them. It’s very common. Their mothers probably had it done to them and they sell their children because it’s all they know. Very sad.

My husband is Canadian we all moved here about two years ago and joke all the time about doing crime when we’re low on money because you’ll get a slap on the wrist and asked not to do it again.

Yeah. The system here is screwed-- foster care is non-existent and institutions and orphanages are highly underfunded, just relying on sporadic volunteers and NGO funds. Many Filipinos will tell you that "abortion is sin" and you should just give your baby away if you don't want it. However, what they don't know is that: 1. Leaving your baby as a foundling here is illegal if you're caught, 2. Surrendering them to a welfare center would guarantee having your child bouncing back to you if they discover that you're not highly destitute, 3. Almost nobody wants to adopt here. The rate of adoption here is very low. And, if you ask those same anti-abortion, anti-contraception people if they would adopt a baby and 95% they would say no, because of the especially narcissistic reason that they prefer all their kids to have their "own blood". Many parents here look at their own children as one or more of these: property, investment, or retirement insurance. Have a parent/s like that in this country and you are surely screwed. Those poor children you see being sold are just few of thousands of screwed children in this country.
And oh, yeah, they're not likely to be adopted. As I have said, the adoption rate is low in this country. Those few who choose to adopt want babies, not grown children. Children who are past toddler age are often doomed to a life of nothing to have and no one to rely on.
Goes without saying, adoption is low. Philippine is surrounded still with poor, not to mention a family. As for "prefer their own blood" i'm sure that goes for the World, not just Philippines. Adopting truly only exist for couples who couldnt conceive.

Starting off with the story that hits me hardest. When I was a kid he went missing near where I was living and everybody on the sunny coast was in shock. I remember every year wearing red for Daniel and I cried the day the truth came out. He was 8yrs older then me but he was still so young and had his whole life ahead of him.

Working with street kids, the homeless, organising food drives and warm clothes/blankets etc for those in need, spending their own limited money to put food on someone else's plate, counselling people who are depressed, lonely, visiting and comforting the dying etc etc. Recently my priest comforted me, advised me and helped me in every way he could to leave my abusive marriage (FYI, it's bulldust that 99% of Catholic priests will EVER tell someone to stay in an abusive marriage, absolute rubbish), the same as priests have been a shoulder to cry on when I'm struggling. When I was suicidal and my family just didn't want to hear it I visited a local priest and he listened for hours and helped me to find a psych in my price range. Many have counselling training.
True priests, and there are very, very many, are friends, confidante's and brother and father figures. They are good people who are drawn to that way of life out of compassion. You might as well say that every teacher is a paedophile or abusive just because they go into teaching children, I mean, teachers and coaches are always abusing kids if you focus only on the negative stories, so obviously that's why they gravitate towards position of power, right? Or every man who chooses to become a father is going to molest their children. Don't blacken the reputation of a beautiful vocation just because religion aint your jam, and theophobia is no more acceptable than any other xenophobia.

I wondered whether it would be possible to advise should any animals be involved.
We have a small no cage animal sanctuary, 5 year's ago we were attacked and lost many animals. We then found out that all the torture was recorded for the dark web. We had to view them to identify animals and perpetrators. It has taken until now to even get through a week when the memory plays tricks and thoughts of suicide set in as you think the intensity of pain is never going to heal.
I love this chanel so much as it has allowed us to heal and switch off by pressing play.

It's absolutely sickening that a woman could offer up her own child to be sa by sick men. A mother is supposed to protect and nurture her children, not expose them to pedophiles. The level of betrayal is astounding. And yet, wherever there is extreme poverty, children are always the most vulnerable. If they're not doing the work of grown people they're being preyed on...we don't know that level of desperation. Yet most mothers, no matter how dire the circumstances, would do anything to protect their child. This is beyond heartbreak. Then the children who are rescued are fed into the system, where they're very likely to be abused more. 😢

Daniella Willis That's good to hear, nobody should ever trust their kids around strangers. What really trips me out is how there are actual people out there that would even think about partaking in such horrible acts. Not only is it fucking disgusting how adults can be attracted to children, but to also know that they'll end the life of an innocent child simply to fulfill their sick fantasies is absolutely horrifying. Though I don't have any kids of my own yet, it still scares me to know that there are people in the world that only see them as objects to use for their own "gratification" and won't think twice about taking their lives in order to get away with it. Hopefully in the near future we'll have the technology to single out these disturbed individuals from birth or something. Either way I hope there will be easier ways to help combat shit like this as soon as possible.

On 5 December 1987, a then 18-year-old Brett Cowan took a 7-year-old child from the park into a toilet cubicle and raped him. Cowan had been sentenced to two years jail in 1989, but only served half of that sentence.
6 years later in September 1993, Brett Cowan lured another 6-year-old boy into an abandoned car yard and raped him.
Brett Cowan left his 6 year old victim in the middle of the bush to die but thankfully the brave child somehow found his way back to a main road and into a petrol station. The child's injuries were that severe that those present initially assumed he had been hit by a car !. Suffering from a punctured lung and several cuts, it was not until they saw that the child was also heavily bleeding from his bottom due to a torn anus as a result of the brutal rape that those present realised the reality of what had happened. Brett Cowan initially denied his involvement and even stated to the police, "I hope you catch the bastard". However, the officers quickly discovered that Brett Cowan was the only man in the caravan park not to offer up a DNA sample after semen was found on the boy's discarded underwear. Police contacted him once again with the evidence, and he quickly confessed to the rape. Yet again he was released free back into the public after serving a short sentence in prison.
Sadly for Daniel Marcombe's family, it was not until the sexual assault and murder of their son that the Australian public was made aware of this predator. In a bitter but sweet result, due to publicity that this case amassed, the courts finally decided to lock this animal away for life in Australian jails whose inmates had also been watching the news. The likes of Brett Cowan and other child predators are welcomed into Australian prisons by other prisoners with open arms...... that is of course only so that they can catch and inflict some sweet revenge on such despicable humans.. In Brett Cowan's case, after being assaulted & stabbed, he was welcomed back into his cell with a face full of boiling water by his fellow inmates =).
