Aww I do lindyhop and you can actually dance like this pretty spontaneously. The girl follows the lead of the guy as to what move they're doing. But in the context of Pete, he's us typically very try hard
Pete Campbell was ultimately the most honorable man in the show. Yes, he came from money and that helped him get his foot in the door. But honestly, he played the cards he was dealt tremendously, and he did most of the ugly, boring, painstaking work involved with accounts. Pete wasn't a natural account man, but he became a spectacular one through sheer hard work. He was, at the end of the show, the most accurate depiction of, and closest to the American dream.
He was a serial cheater and fathered a bastard child, definitely not the most honorable man on the show. I’d give that title to Freddy, especially after he kicked his drinking habit
So they’re supposed to eat it when it’s likely embedded with broken glass? Ignoring the fact that it fell onto the dirty street, it likely splattered everywhere too. And Pete could never compare to Jesus. Just because they’re homeless doesn’t mean they should refer to him as such. I bet they’re better people than Pete is.
oh fuck that draw a man scene is so clever - pete's daughter can only draw the picture of a businessman (head, moustache(?), and necktie); moustache is interesting too because pete questions only the moustache part, implying that he can instantly recognise that his daughter is drawing *him*
I’m from the Scottish highlands and the whole MacDonald / Campbell clan thing is hilarious! We Highlanders don’t have clan battles anymore - just a good piss-up and a fight at a wedding!
How many times did we hear him say: “I don’t understand”? Great character but TVs most punchable face. As much as I couldn’t stand him early on he became the most interesting character on the show for me. Don’t know which was the better insult, “Grimy Little pimp” or when Rodger calls him “Paul”
for all the other video makers Campbell is not a boomer,Sally Draper is.Pete is 26 in 1960 ...he was born in 1934.Please people get facts right or its sloppy
I'm sorry but if I was arguing with my husband and he like, casually went to the balcony with a plate full of chicken and just chucked it away, in the mildest display of anger ever, I would have pissed myself.
Yeah, I hated him in the beginning but he did show some redeeming qualities as time went on. Hard to separate the outdated attitudes of the time with the character of the man. He was kind of a whiny little B though 😅
Thats exactly what i told my wife. We're not adopting a dog and thats final!! Threw the KFC out the window. Stray dog ended up finding it in the front yard. His name is Rufus. He sleeps on my couch now.
I got so sick of seeing skinny little Pete getting women left and right and being so arrogant. Don Draper being arrogant and getting women is believable, but not Pete..
Imagine casually walking home and getting murdered by a plate of turkey
😂😂
“The King ordered it!”

@@bocelottMe, too. So perfect.
Did you know the story they are referring to is the on George RR Martin based the red wedding on?
hells bells trudy.
That is final.
Best line ever.
"This is medieval"
He had the foresight to not smash up his wall and a plate indoors. I approve it
That scene with him and Trudy dancing is so sweet and wholesome.
Not to mention calculated :-D
@@Snakecrossing yes! the fact that they practiced that! too funny!

And that scene of his throwing the plated chicken out the window is the perfect opposite of it
This was so random and so funny. "THE KING ORDERED IT!" 😂😂😂😂
"Your daughter only had a head, mustache, and necktie."
Pete: ... "mustache?"
lmaoo i love this guy so much
Favourite character, no question.
Mine too 😂

One of the best dialogues and one liners came from this man.

He cheated on his wife a lot, not really honorable although I think he changed at the end
He was a serial cheater and fathered a bastard child, definitely not the most honorable man on the show. I’d give that title to Freddy, especially after he kicked his drinking habit
@@JackTHall-ji1qb maybe he changed because he got old and uglier
Going back to his wife was the easy thing to do from a social standpoint. Those people are disgusting.
LOL he was a misogynistic asshole... I feel icky using the word misogynistic but it's true in this instance.
I love Pete's character in the show, how he change from a being bigot at the beginning to a more humble person at the end. Love it.
"Who put the Chinamen in my office?" Best prank ever😂
The king ordered it
5:26 I guess that fight with Lane convinced Pete to work on his right hook.
A thing like that.
HELLS BELLS TRUDY
Oh there’s MORE best Pete episodes! Do more!!
Did he just throw away a turkey dinner, I bet homeless people call Pete jesus.

Lol @ Harry Krane clearing the dance floor.
I love him
Look at Henry dance at 1:05 🤣, Pete is such a great account man.
I can watch the scene with Pete getting the snot knocked out of him by Layne countless times on repeat.
why did they cut “you want some more, Mr Toad?” from the fight scene lmaooo
Campbells v Mac Donald’s a very old Scottish story, I remember working in the highlands in 1992 and I got bad vibes just because I was a ‘macgregor’……
Yeah but it's not their fault, the king ordered it

Roger: "Cooler heads should prevail, but I'm going to light up a cigarette instead."
5:25 Pete should've said "Keep my wife's name out of your fucking mouth!" before he punches the dude.
"mustache?"

i liked pete because whenever they were super racist on the show he never laughed and looked disgusted at the jokes.
But he is a disgusting person in general

He was a monster towards women but I remember him being super captivating to watch.
He eventually got his act together, being separated from Trudy taught him what he was missing and he became a better father and person.
