In fact the paved roads are less than 6 years old. With 14 amazing white sand beaches you will surely find your happy spot! In my video we will will explore 5 different resorts: Vimarn Samed, Samed Cabana, Tongta Phaview, Samed Villa, Samed Tubtim. We will also explore my best beach Koh Samet picks: Ao Wong Duan, Ao Wai, Ao Phrao, Tub Tim bay, Sai Kaew, Tubtim,and Nual bay. We will make visit via scooter to south and west sides of island as well as virtual tour of Ao Phai nightlife. This video will surely enhance your visit.

Hi Joe…. Thanks for the great video! We’re planning on visiting this January and thinking of staying at the Vimarn Samed. I really don’t know which rooms offer the best view and accommodation, so I took a chance and booked one of the Deluxe Seaview rooms ( also referred to as a Deluxe Quadruple Room). This is for my wife and I, both in our 60s, who enjoy a more laid back area with some walking and hiking around, as well as a nice beach.
Are you familiar with these rooms or would you recommend a different room at the resort that may have more to offer? Thank you for any info you may have.🙏

Is it better weather here in late October/Early November compared to Ao Nang/Phuket region??
Late October/ early November is ending of rainy season and beginning of best Thai weather … I feel go which ever location peaks your interest and the weather is beginning to be wonderful in both locations.

It's impossible to go from Bangkok to Koh Samet in 3 hours. It's 3 hours to Pattaya Beach.
Hmm? 🤔- done it many times from Bangkok to Koh Samet Pier from Sukhumvit Bangkok less than 3 hours- just google mapped it! 2 hours 43 minutes…

Prices change daily and with seasons. I specifically never discuss hotel prices as they are always changing. I use booking or Agoda to check out hotels for ratings and prices
