- Hey Party People! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you some back to school theme lunch ideas I put together! This week my kids went back to school! They are in grades pre-K 4, and 2nd grade! I've been having a ball with these theme lunch ideas and it keeps things interesting for the kids, so I hope you get some ideas/ inspiration for when you pack your kids' lunch!

Wanted to tell ya if you have a Christmas Tree Shop store near you, they have lots of quirky foods in the back including all different shapes and holiday themed pasta on the cheap ;) I get Halloween pasta, Christmas, Thanksgiving, even 4th of july pasta LOL! Check it out ;)

I use a metal straw to poke holes in apple chunks and stick in gummy worms for April Fools Day lol

My daughters been in school since August 1st 😳 but some of these are so cute I may have to test her out on them! We recently tried the lara bars and they weren’t a hit with her but I like them! She is loving the z bars and kind bars though 🤷🏻♀️

This year, we’ve moved on from using the melon ball scooper to the pointing pencil to point at thing haha!!!! 😂💚

Me and my daughters missed so much school last year especially my one I'm pretty sure we're like out of school days it was a point that even if she was slightly sick and we missed school I had to take her to the doctors for the excuse. It was her first year and she was in kindergarten so I'm hoping this year it's better she had strep throat like 3 times and she also had crazy allergy issues. Her face even swelled up at one point. also I would send her and then she would end up in the nurse's office which is super embarrassing both my girls have done this I actually had one time that I had to pick up both kids from school on the same day at different times. 😂 I asked my daughter if she said that her sister was just picked up and she said no. And I am really a cautious person so I hate having to send them but sometimes you just gotta especially when it's towards the end of the school year and they're out of days. I usually have one or two kind of sick days but then I keep the kids home and they ask completely fine and I'm like "man I should have just sent you to school." And then another days when I'm like suck it up buttercup and send them the nurse calls me. 😂😂😂 It's like I never make the right choice.
Have you tried melting cheese on something for her? Like on toast?
Sharp cheddar cheese melted on toast, and then put a little bit of Welches grape jelly on top of it after the cheese is toasted and melted. FANTASTIC flavor combination & SOOOO much good nutrition, especially if you use whole grain bread.
Do you know where you got your little teeny tiny hummus container?? This momma is looking for something for dressing for my daughters salads....loved the cute back to school ideas! We don’t start until next Wednesday.
It is an old school 'tupperware' container!! Pretty sure they were passed down from my mom! I'm sure you can find something fancier on Amazon!

I am OBSESSED with Avalina’s lunchbox! I almost bought that set at the Disney Store for myself because Inside Out is my favorite and it’s so adorable! (Let’s face it, I’ll end up with it sooner than later. Disney bags/backpacks are one of my addictions I swear)

Yes. Some of us are single parents, not stay at home moms who can keep a child at home for every little sniffle. It would be nice if I could but that is not my reality!

@@thewadsquad my child is always and will always be a priority. Again every one does not have the luxury to stay home or have our spouse stay home for sniffles. Sniffles could be allergies or sinus. A person with cough, congestion, fever, vomiting or diarrhea is noticeably sick. I think it's insane to keep a child home for a running nose and you think it is insane not too. That's okay. We don't have agree. I watch because I like your personality, not for parenting skills or advice. It's okay for everyone to do what they think is best for their child.

You should really try aldi agian, they change every week and get new stuff in and they get the shape pasta all the time. Go to there website and you can see there add for 2 weeks of all the new products they will have and they are doing a lot of organic now too...I had to pause the video for a sec and your school house looked a little "dirty" you should go back and pause it lol I was cracking up like omg i cannot be the only one that notices that looks like lol sorry not sorry...;)
