I had sympathy for Jordan Peterson and supported him because he was against the alphabet mafia, but I remember on a podcast Mohammed Hijab asked him if he would accept Islam if he saw enough evidence and his answer was “no”. That really shocked me. How could a person even say something like that. That’s when I realized he isn’t the person I assumed he was.

I just want to point out that the Palestinians have a right to go to war if they so choose, because 70% of those Israeli "civilians" are occupiers and squatters who aren't even natives of the region. They're living in occupied land, after having destroyed the livelihood and lives of so many native Palestinians. War is hateful, but sometimes there's no other choice.

I totally agree with your point of your dear brother Jan. You are right that Muslims, as ideal human beings, should support the oppressed without discrimination based on religion or race. However, the conduct of Western leadership viz a viz Muslims is hypocritical i.e. they carved up South Sudan from Sudan proper & East Timor from Indonesia, which I support but keep a blind eye over the issue of Kashmir & Rohingya. They also use the issue of Uyghurs & Sahrawis as bargaining chip. Regarding Hamas doing atrocities, indeed if they're committed against innocent civilians, they're condemnable. However, as of now, it is mostly propaganda to garner sympathies. Also, the civilians depicted are actually illegal armed radical settlers who are even worst than Israeli military because they loot & act as vigilantes. I am a Muslim and bears Jordanian nationality (originally from Yafa-Palestine which I didn’t get to see, nor my parents because they were kicked out of the land and the land was given by force to a settler who knew that they’re staying in a land that was someone else’s iland that someone was killed or expelled to Jordan, lebanon, syria, West Bank or?? Gaza! Oh so the people in Gaza are mostly refugees from Yafa, Haifa….etc. and they are kicking out whoever took their lands or practically their grandparents lands because their grandparents did not give them up) so there are no civilians in Israel, youtube what do they teach their children in their public schools! It’s so naive of us Muslims to think that whoever is in Israel doesn’t know that they are in a land that isn’t theirs! They either contribute directly or indirectly in the oppression, or they approve of it and dwell in it! Which is equally the same! I do not feel sorry for any settler that was killed or kidnapped. I don’t feel sorry for them for the sake of Allah first and foremost and Allah is the witness over all intentions.
I understand but a lot of victims are tourists or people attending music festivals who are not settlers and don't even know what's going on. Any civilian death is a tragedy, however, there is a Day in which all accounts will be dealt with.
