Get ready to travel through time. 🕒 Today, we are going to visit the oldest temple in Tokyo!
Sensoji is a buddhist temple that has been built in 645. Unfortunately, it has been destroyed during the World War 2. After the war, it has been rebuilt and it's now a powerful symbol of rebirth and peace!
We start our walk from the Kaminarimon, the thunder gate! We will then wander through Nakamise-dōri shopping street until we arrive at the main buildings of the temple.
If you plan to visit Tokyo, you cannot miss Sensoji temple!
Sensoji is located in Asakusa which is probably the most traditional place is Tokyo. Make sure you get lost in this historical neighbourhood and enjoy the old Japan. :)

Good question! People in Japan believe that incense smoke has a healing effect. That's why they try to cover their body with it. :)
