May the beauty of traditional architecture of japan live a thousand more years.
this looks so sharp and crisp that for a second i thought this was computer generated. Great video!
I think I'm playing too many games, I thought this was another unreal engine demo. Which is a massive compliment to unreal engine honestly.
@@JustapErson It totally looks like UE5 Demo
The same! Games like rainy streets nowadays to showcase RTX capabilities in the puddles. Also the consistent slow walk pace is deceiving.
Wait, is this real?
Itâs 16k resolution rendering reality.
What a magically beautiful place. That lighting in the rain is fantastic.

Every time I look at Japan, especially on city roads and forests, I always remember the era when the samurai, shogun, ninja, shinobi, etc. lived here, especially in an atmosphere like this.
You remember it do you?

Walked for 5 hours in Kyoto before just exploring. In the noon time, was not raining. But was still very picturesque and enthralling. The perfect blend of temples and metropolis is the vibe of Kyoto.
Not a single human, wonderful.
This was probably taken during the coronavirus pandemic.
10:55 this feels surreal, the colors of the streets, the color of the sky, this fantastical looking tree rising on the horizon... wonderful.
One of the most stunning cities on earth, without doubt.
To anybody reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about gets better. May the dark thoughts, the overthinking, and the doubt exit your mind may clarity replace confusion. may peace and calmness fill your life.
Kyoto is really a beautiful place. 'Old' Japan sprouting among modern economic powerhouse. Not to mention how clean and dustless it is :)
ofcourse its dustless when its raining-.-...every place is dustless when it rains
@@johnyseimah229 trash, on the other hand...
@@johnyseimah229 heh. mudless, then. down here you cant walk 10mins on a pathway without having to wade through a patch of mud. but look at this place! system they've got for water flow must be something else...
"Glad" Americans didn't bomb it.
It was supposed to be.
@SOEP i dunno dude id probably volunteer to clean there, place looks amazing compared to suburbblock_17 we got down here
I've lived in Kyoto some years ago. It was a heaven in the earth.
I freaking love the peaceful, clean emptiness of those streets. Lots of lights illuminating the wet road and reflecting in windows beautifully, and the fact that this video is so sharp and crisp, plus the soothing sound of the rain...! It's all so perfect.
*sigh of relaxation*
As a Londoner, it rains 60% of the year, including summers. And, as a Londoner, I Do love to take peaceful night time walks between 1-4am, so this was the Perfect ghost town walk for me.
I've been fascinated with Japan since I was kid watching anime movies on bbc2 in the 90s.
Kyoto is my number 1 destination in Japan and then, the famous trek up Mount Fuji to watch the sunrise and set... Yes, I got time. What else do we have but time? đ
Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Tokyo, the countryside's
If you see this comment, I want to thank you for living with me on the same planet. You are not alone in this world. I hope this comment can make at least one person a little bit happy. This is all I want and wish good health to you
gooooood morning vietnaaaaam :D
This is my new fav "walk". I felt like I was transported to Kyoto and it also brings back fond memories of my trip there in late 2018.
What a beautiful rain storm. In Kyoto. I miss Kyoto so much.
I want to take a moment to honor what this video achieves, what it truly is.
This is somebody at ease with themselves.
This is what inner peace looks like POV.
The fact there's no one else around gives me liminal space vibes, but comforting ones
Words cannot describe how amazing it was to follow you along on this walk! As calming and relaxing as it was beautiful to watch, thank you so much for this
At first thank you for this video. Night in Kyoto is so beautiful. Sound of rain , your steps & the cars passing by will attract everybody. Thank you again for your nice video.
One thing that I have always liked to do when I visit a city is to get lost in its narrowest and oldest streets.... these kinds of walks are always relaxing
This walk has reminded me of the times I have visited Kyoto... Thanks for the good memories
This is extremely relaxing. I get Sunday vibes from this.
It is so inexplicably peaceful to walk down deserted streets & corridors as the rain taps the surroundings. The soft glow from the streetlamps, the reflection of light dancing across the wet blocks, & the haunting emptiness of the streets is chilling to the eye & soul & the perfect moments of solitude & tranquility. I was stationed in Japan in the U.S.M.C. from 84-85. Loved it. I have developed mobility issues & videos such as this not only entertain me but take me to places, I can scarce visit today. Thank you so much for posting.
Astonishing video quality! Lovely area too! Iâm jealous of all that beautiful architecture and that steady rainfallđ.
Iâve watched this 4 times over the past week and Iâm still speechless. The lighting is just so incredibly pretty, and the colors are gorgeous and itâs so clean and crisp I feel like my eyes are lying to me lol I would love to go one day but since Iâm unable to this has been the best thing. The sound as well just has been wonderful âș I loved this
Love the color of those street lights. They make an old and peaceful ambience.
the footage is so smooth and crisp holy
Everything is so tidy and clean that looks like a very good quality architectural rendering
Big thanks for the high quality, really love it. Had now a chance to see it in 4k HDR and it is just gorgeous.
Wish I could be there right now. What a mystical & magical place with all the stunning buildings, the atmosphere, the rain..Mesmerising!!!đ
What a wonderful country please don't ever change.
Quite possibly the most beautiful city in the world.
the architecture of those houses it's just amazing, beautiful, ancient and modern at same time
Amazing video... I literally feel and smell the rain, plus the light and the pitoresque alleys and houses, wonderful!
Absolutely beautiful! Hope to visit. Great job. Thank you.
This is an amazing video. I regret not taking that much photos and vids when I visited Kyoto a few years back, but your videos brought back tons of memories
This is what i call peaceful. I have always wanted to be in that kind of place, alone, raining.. my eyes are blessed.
Gotta love Japan. It looks so clean and tidy. Beautiful place.
This brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for sharing the magic of Japan with these intimate strolls through the streets of such majestic and awe-inspiring city. Thanks, from Mexico.
Literally crying, thats so beautiful
This is fantastic - I visited Japan for the first time in November and walked down some of these same streets, but seeing them at night and in the rain makes it look like almost a different city altogether.
Iâm sure it wasnât the most fun walking around in this rain but dayum it sure was worth it. Such a soothing video.
Watching this in the UK in August 2022 and thinking "I miss rain"
Absolutely. Beautiful! Kyoto is a magical place miss it
Wow! This is the video to watch to show off your 4K HDR set. Simply stunning quality!
VJ is the GOAT of 4K/HDR atmospheric videos. Dynamic weather, lighting and shadows, silky smooth ray-traced reflections, no video card from AMD/NVIDIA can come close to VJ. đ„đđ»
I would like to thank you for this video. I have been very tense and your videos relax me. Thank you very much!
Really relaxing views. Beautiful architecture.

Beautiful! Thank You! â€
27:29 lighting was so well done ....beautiful
This is unexpectedly beautiful, and the photography is amazing. The content and the contrast of the pure black and brilliant, colorful lights is just striking. A video like this is also the perfect way to compare different television technologies. I thoroughly enjoyed your video and as a result I subscribed to your channel.
Excellent videography! And the sound of the rain is so crispy and mesmerizing! Truly inspirationall!
Absolutely unparalled atmosphere. Thanks for getting soaked!

Imagine how much beautiful will looks with snow...
Great to see your rain videos again đđœ
The sound the rain makes when it hits the umbrella is nice.
I am sitting here in Ontario Canada looking at this video on my 86 inch 4K tv, wearing a pair of wireless headphones. The colour and sound is amazing. I feel I can just step into the screen .
Iâm trying to decide if i should visit Kyoto or Tokyo for my first visit to Japan. They both seem like such amazing cities to visit.
I would recommend you start with Kyoto, because it is a beautiful city you can explore in a few days (and then dedicate two more to see the neighboring Osaka and Nara areas). Afterwards, you can move to Tokyo. A megacity so big you can easily spend weeks just walking around, discovering interesting things behind each corner.
I would recommend both city's both are amazing in there own way, Tokyo is fast moving city and I think the best place to stay in Tokyo is around the ASAKUSA area this place is so Beautiful plenty of lovely walks & lovely eateries. Kyoto is so different and so many amazing walks and a much less pace in getting around but the city can be very busy with people side walks can be full and also in the enclosed shopping area's so I would advise on lots of research B4 you go I did two years so my holidays ran smoothly good luck
Wow. Amazing views.
So quaint and beautiful. Thank you

Afternoon to you mate! I love these night city walking tour walks where you see so many people from all walks of life enjoying the night life of what the city has to offer to everyone no matter who you are or what you look like. We are all human beings to each other & that's what matters always. Thanks for sharing another fantastic walk & stay safe!đđđđđ
everything is so cozy in this video. I like it!
By far one of my favorites
thank you so much. Wet shoes and feet obviously , sleepless night. Great video. Love Kyoto and Japan. Greetings from Sydney, Australia
Beautiful video & an amazing place!
Your videos are great inspiration, keep up the nice content
This was VERY relaxing! Thank you, very much!!!
beautiful, peaceful, and so clean and well maintained
I've been to Kyoto once when I was a teenager. I still cannot forget how I felt every moment while staying there. Kyoto was very beautiful.
But it says nowadays it's so hard to visit and travel Kyoto for the most foreigners. Only a few foreigners who got strictly confirmed can be welcomed to visit there.
They say it is to keep the area very relaxed and noble and not to be bothered by any noise.
I heard not every visitor could eat in any restaurant in Kyoto but only allowed visitors could reserve restaurants there.
And for those who cannot reserve, must know someone who actually lives in Kyoto, and through that person's reservation, they can only be invited to eat...
I wish I could visit Kyoto again..
I'm very happy and relieved to hear about your good experience in our country!
That's true about certain restaurants in Kyoto.
They are for regular customers and their accompanies only.
These places aren't on Google Maps or guidebooks, and in many (probably most) other restaurants, anyone can make a reservation (they might have trouble understanding English though, sorry in advanceđ« ).
Also, COVID restriction has been relaxed to a great extent now, and I've seen many tourists from overseas visiting Kyoto now.
Due to the currency rate, you can visit Japan cheaper than ever now! I hope you visit here again and wish you have a great time in Kyoto or anywhere else!
I put on my headphones, then this video. Instant calm. Perfect unwind after a couple stressful days.
Absolute great. Thank you.
Breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you for this.
Love Japan, and LOVE YOUR CHANNEL! Thanks for your video that I could feel more about Japan when I can't go there! Keep it up!
Many people who see this probably don't feel like seeing it for the first time.
That's because this fantastic land is home to many anime in Japan.
When I do visit Japan in the future, Kyoto is my first stop. Thanks for sharing!
Love this channel so much. Thank you for the great upload.
If I go to Japan, Iâll definitely visit Kyoto. It looks like such a beautiful place with lots of interesting culture! đ„°

The sound of rain & lighting is so fantastic. Thank you.
one of the best videos of your channel
what a beautiful place omg
The most beautiful City. In my opinion of course.
Man those orange lights really make it feel so warm and comfortable. More cities world-wide should utilize them.
Sadly most cities are getting rid of them as fast as they can because plain white LEDs are cheaper and use less energy
Beautiful place captured in the lens. Loved the content. Thanks for sharing it đ
Visually stunning!!!
Lovely content
the FLOOR , did someone notice that there is not a single puddle of water ? perfectly flat and well construct with beautiful materials , impressive and beautiful architecture , feels like a Kabukis painting almost , surely Japan is a sight to behold !
There are multiple puddles of water tho?
