- This big family definitely runs on its stomach! But food costs are on the rise so we combat it by eating meals that don't have a lot of meat. But I don't want to compromise on health if I can help it! So here is our daily life surrounded by the context of our "daily bread". #largefamilymeals

Amber I have said this before and it is worth saying again. You and Marc have done such an excellent job exposing your children to diverse foods that watching what they eat and enjoy is impressive. Fabulous job.
In an oven the elements are what goes out 80% of the time they pull out and you can order new ones and pop them in they have a fit like a flush plug in. Go to Lowes or home depot and talk to someone in the dept with ovens some of the people that work in the dept are retired people who did this kind of work all ur info is on the stove that gives all numbers you need. Make sure u know what is not turning on test it out. I fixed my own stove and my dryer they both have plug in elements. God bless

That’s true, but I believe she has a gas stove. However, those gas burners where flame comes out can also go bad or get clogged up. They get clogged up with carbon. Good to have it checked if it is propane or natural gas.

Honestly my favorite you tube family. Amber, I love that you let the kids eat sugar occasionally even though you’re very healthy. You don’t deprive them of the occasional sweets.

I am very impressed with Naomi's baking ability. You should ask her to try an apple slab pie. It would be the perfect size for your family and is a delicious dessert. I generally make mine with Granny Smith apples. Their tartness is pleasurable. Hope you get a chance to try one I am sure the children will love it. At least that has been my experience.

So u inspired me to make my own beans so I bought a pressure cooker & I am going to make home made chipotle bowls w brown rice & beans & chicken topped w cheddar cheese lettuce sour cream salsa or guacamole.

Love the fact that Moses eats everything as well.I was fortunate with my four sons they also would eat 90% of what was put in front of them. No way did I have time to make separate meals or the money.
try 3 to 5 ingredients. Cheap and still tasty . Goulash Noodle , Bacon , Tomatoes . Salt and Pepper. It is a German Goulash from my Papa.
Love these videos. BTW they do have organic beef stock by the case at Costco just like the Chicken stock.

Did all the children eat with adult silverware when they began feeding themselves ? Im just curious because every time I see Moses using those big utensils I’m amazed at what a good job he does.

I’ve never liked ketchup on ANYTHING! But as a kid I put mustard and mayonnaise on my hot dogs. Now I don’t want the extra calories so it’s mustard and relish.

I love how everyone pitches in the help with dinner, music lessons, holding/feeding Netta. Each of my four kids did their own personal laundry at age 12. Even my 2 to 3 year olds could empty little trash cans or put placemats on the table. You and Marc have a lovely family!
