Absolutely agree. RNG made other companions say it in the other few times I had to retry the fight. Shadowheart's the shortest, but best for the situation.
Lol I've come here to see how to beat the boss because I can't do it, and see that there is only 1 way with paladin and tons of buffs. Nice... And above that, 2 things: 1) how did you get too many HP? I have 80 HP Lae'zel only, others have 40-60. Is it endurance or passive skills? 2) why Myrkul has 297 HP while my Myrkul has 327? Seems we have different patches.
Dunno how you pull off such high HP numbers. Same with the xp (Did literally all the content as the good playthrough and I ended up with 9.5 level at this fight). Damage wise it sounds about right, I did a similar thing with my 7 bard/2 pala build - less swings but higher level of smites. Can't do the triple attack myself anyway since you need level 5 pala and lvl 5 warlock I guess.
IDK, Even I have not completed incubator quest of Laezel, lost a lot of content (2nd walktrought, evil side) , I have come to Myrkul at the end of 9 level) You clearly missed a lot of things)
Pact of the blade warlock 5 paladin 5. Pact of the blade at level 5 gives an extra attack with your pact weapon, which stacks with extra attack from any martial class. With haste, Wyll got 6 attacks total, for 2d6+13 damage each, before divine smites. The mace from the lathander temple inflicts blinded on undead close to it, so Wyll in melee inflicts blinded on the enemy, which activates arcane synergy from his helmet and gives him advantage on his attack rolls, for an almost guaranteed chance to hit and 10% chance to crit.
he used wyll but it is not matter! he is level 10 and we seen warlock and paladin skills and he attacked 6 times so it is mean 5-5 levels because warlock pact of the blade stack with extra attack and used the divine smiths + hunter's mark + haste (which give you an another action slot what work with extra attack and warlock second attack!)
I have cleared all content in Act 1 and 2 and Im roughly 2.5k from level 10 after I beat Myrkul. Unless you went maybe and slaughtered everything I guess could work. Still, its either an incredible streak of pure luck since you got multi crits, also try fighting kethric torm normally before you face Myrkul and you will have a nice fight. The game is not too hard though but I play without using potions and haste and on tactician and no spell casters but a healer, full melee train groups and zero aoe, and I still cake through most fights but it takes setup of items etc. Anyway. I stil feel this video is either extreme luck but above all, skipping Kethric thorm fight not only do you miss a TON of xp but you miss out on an incredibly fun and difficult fight. The Myrkul fight is easy compared to the phase 1 in this dramatic ending of act 2
I play without using my hands or monitor, just using the sounds, I also use only one character and I never level up or use equipments, I like to fight naked ao the game is a bit more challenging. I also use a mod that makes tactician 69 times more difficult and use random dialog options, and I've beaten this game this way 419 times now, in less than a week btw. On my 420 playthrough I'm spicing things up by not using my feet, only my tongue to press the buttons, also turned sound off because it was too easy IMO. If you use a healer you are losing a lot of good content and difficult fights, a shame
Are you using mods for XP considering its impossible to be the level you are at by that fight, Level 9 if you cleared all content up until now. Also you used the Persuassaion on Kethric. Sure I did too first but reloaded and took that fight plus then Myrkul, and I still got achivement for having Myrkul unable to self heal from necros as I downed him in 3 turns. But what you display here is : A: Modded XP, 1000%..B: How on earth do you score that many crits in a row, thats not luck. You want to cheat and destroy the game then post videos its up to you buddy. That said, yes I ban Hexblade/Warlocks as well but more due to RP reasons as its just too damn conflicting unless its an oath breaker paladin. Just wait until you have a Sorc/Paladin in your group :)
Man if you think he's cheating that tells only one thing about you: you don't have a clue on how to play the game. And that's fine, this game has tons of stuff to do and learn, just stop saying s*** about thing you don't understand
Shadowheart’s ‘Shit.’ when Myrkul arrives is the funniest line

Ah yes, Wyll the paladin
5:51 What in the nine hells was that ???

can you share what are the classes of all your party members ?
Such power................
A party of level 8's and a tanky demon summon and he killed all of them in one round... oh, and he now has 390 HP.
How can you have more reactions like that
297??? He’s 390 for me
Dude was way over leveled
hell no... thorm and myrkul is level 11... and it is the natural leveling if you do every quests! -_-
how do you attack and get the devine smite option when you land a hit??
paladin reactions
divine smith also is a reaction
Damn never used wyll but damn I might need to
Ok. But how is my level 8 party supposed to do it?
were u able to finish it?
@@HammyZam Yes
@@HammyZam Took some save scumming. But was able to get him bent over. I was lucky though. He kept focusing and missing on a summon
you can... there is a lot of ilithid purple bomb where that necro skull knight mini boss there! nightsong also help a lot!
i cant even tell whats going on what are you doing????
i dont get the option to persuade him?
You need to search his chambers for a letter I suppose and try to persuade him earlier before battle on roof
How did you even get that high of a level, I feel like I've done most of the quests and I'm only at level 8
Answer: CHEAT!
i was wondering the same lol
I just did every single quest in act 1 and 2 and got to level 10
You have definitely missed some things
IDK, Even I have not completed incubator quest of Laezel, lost a lot of content (2nd walktrought, evil side) , I have come to Myrkul at the end of 9 level)

What skill allows you to take so many attacks?
Its one bonus attack from 5 lvl paladin, one from blade pact warlock, which for some reason stacks with any other bonus atack, and haist spell.
From 5:46, how the hell are you even doing that?
Pact of the blade warlock 5 paladin 5. Pact of the blade at level 5 gives an extra attack with your pact weapon, which stacks with extra attack from any martial class. luv how he does show the build or any context whatsoever. He's cheating.
Can someone explain this to me so I can imitate it

What the actual fuck... 😅

Make your own showcase video then or stfu
At any rate, the crits are guaranteed by items and abilities, it's not luck.
No need to be an elitist, people can play the game however they want to.
you literally dont even have a username on the platform dork

the real question is why wouldn't you slaughter every children, dog, and cat that you encountered? I know I sure did.

I was also level 10 at this fight and the crits in this video can be obtained with items and abilities
I did more content than you and was a higher level for a boss fight, therefore I must be cheating. Checks out
how on gods green earth is hexblade and paladin "not rpable"
you realize you can be a paladin to *any* god, right. not just lawful good ones.
yeah ketheric is a paladin lol
