    Henry, you have added so much to understanding the Sonography profession. As a student, I've learned so much from you and it is truly appreciated. And as sonographers or future additions to the field, it would be a pleasure to educate the general public as perhaps you do in your everyday encounters. ❤ Thanks for Sharing.

    Wow, can't believe I'm first. Just love this concise summary. This should help out a lot cuz I get soooo many patients asking for a "normal" ultrasound. Lol. When I ask questions to determine what type of ultrasound they need, they say..."isn't ultrasound just ultrasound?"

    Hello Sir, thank you for sharing your insights. I have a question for you, would you take a look if it’s possible thanks. Do you think AI will replace sonographers in the future, my wife is going back to school for this. I know sonographers do much more than just image capturing, movement and precision. In another word, do you see any more advanced machine come out in the future that will not require as much skills to move around in order to get a good image and on top of that it corporates AI?

    • @0230Raveena
      @0230Raveena Před 10 měsíci

      I'm sure Henry will answer this more accurately. But pardon me for chiming in. AI seems to be invading every aspect of our lives these days and will continue to do so. As for it replacing sonographers, I think that it is unlikely. Acquiring random images are one thing but AI cannot replace an actual sonographer when it comes to recognizing the subtitles and the necessity for additional investigations since many pathologies are interconnected. Sonography literally requires that human touch, and applying pressure, and angling, and maneuvering. AI would be a great tool for radiologist and diagnosticians but at the end of the day, manual is better than machine in some cases.

    Hi 👋 I see you posted this video about 1.5 years ago. Are you still a sonographer? You highlighted some good parts of the job. I want to know what a hard day looks like in your world. What are some challenges you face and is their a career path with upward mobility or is it just kind of go from sonography to owning a practice?

    • @59mannix
      @59mannix Před měsícem

      Not much upward mobility. Ultrasound schools are subpar compared to 4 year degrees at a college with a med school for you to get good daily clinical practice.
      The rinky-dink sonography schools that are all over the place are rip offs. Most people drop out and are still stuck with debt. Very VERY few of the grads end up with full-time gainful employment…. less than 10% for the evening course students. 😶 Most of the “teachers” are ultrasound techs that are underemployed and forced back into teaching at these scam school. THE TRUTH HURTS❗️
      Get the bachelor degree program at a regular college/university.
