    I agree these are pretty good lights. I have them in my entry way because I have Pothos growing up the 10 foot walls. They are pretty durable also, I have knocked mine over quite a few times with no adverse effects. If anyone has any ideas on how I could hang them from ceiling vertically, I would really appreciate that! Great info as always🙏

    I love these lights! What boggles my mind is why Barrina couldnt make these lights to be connected to each other in series like all of their led lights. When you want to light up a whole wall it gets problematic with just one outlet

    I really appreciate this video, the price of these is excellent. I would never pay Mother prices! I previously bought a 6 pack of garage lights, they're super thin, 4 feet long, 'daylight bulbs' which I prefer, and are very inexpensive. I have one each standing on each side of my Milsbo cabinet. They don't have feet, so are standing on the cord, but they don't weigh anything at all, so not a problem. They do a great job.

      @@EverythingPlants I use the long, under-shelf ones that come in sets of 8, lengths from 12” up to 48”. I use 24 and 36 inch lights in my cabinets, which are wood display cases (one is a Ducks Unlimited cabinet with glass shelves and 3 glass sides, the other is a large china/knickknack display with glass shelves and sides.) I also plan to get a 12” set for some open shelving I just got.
      They supply power cords for each light so you can use them individually. Also, you can connect from 2 to 8 lights with the supplied connector cords that can be spread out up to about 18” apart. Additionally, there are small plugs that connect the lights end-to-end for one continuous strip.
      They can be mounted with the supplied wire-ties, two-sided sticky tape, or screw-in metal clips.
      I love all the included supplies and the great versatility in mounting and connecting.

    They are the only lights I own. I did find one one of mine that the tripod leg snapped off. They stand 100% behind their lights. I have never seen the other you shown but have the very white/blue l8ght is my plant room. I would never be able to put Mother on Soltech into my budget. Thanks for sharing the word.

    Really helpful video! I wonder if any of those freestanding lights ever come with a deflector option, ie a long parabolic reflector strip that clips on from behind (a little like the clip-on silver reflector shades that were available for tubular aquarium lights. For me, it would make them a little more easier on the eye, as the light would be more directable (ie reduced side-glare) ~ just a thought. Each time you feature the back wall, I can't help noticing just how huge everything has grown! Won't be long till you've achieved that full jungle backdrop :)

    • @EverythingPlants
      @EverythingPlants  Před 3 měsíci +1

      I know barrina has them with other types of lights they have. The shelf that I have has those reflective shields....you should write to the company and suggest this as an option.

      @@EverythingPlants if i had extra room and extra money, i would take identical plants from home depot and isolate them in their own little grow tents. it would take up so much space and tie up both your lights for like a month or however long you wanna run the test so it would be tough.
