You're not alone unfortunately - I think it's important to gain some actual IMC time as well, but it happens quite a lot that students end up only flying during VMC - there's nothing stopping you from gaining more experience with an instructor though!

During this flight the one who was next to you said I almost don't understand what say so the words you use with tower
It was just difficult to understand the controller from time to time!
My IR should be revoked considering I only penetrated a cloud once during my entire flight training
