Imagine a spoon let's assume it's 6 inch long the center of this spoon therefore will be on 3 inch mark but if you want to balance this spoon on your finger, will the 3 inch mark be where you place your finger?
No you won't .
Bcoz that will not give you the balance you are looking for. The spoon is heavier on one end. To strike the balance, you will have to put your finger on heavier side. That's where the center lies.
To stubbornly insist on being equidistant from both extremes without taking into account the respective weightage of both sides on any argument does not make you balanced.
