I'm glad to meet you again, after... 10 months of pause, as I see. I hope you continue the "chain of reactions", I appreciate your sense of humor and your musical knowledge. You should know that this song is part of Floor's debut album called "Paragon", released recently, at the end of March. Non-metal, as you rightly noted, but 100% Floor.

This was written for the Invictus games; primarily about ptsd, but also includes all struggles with depression, addiction, etc.
Floor did not want to compete with Nightwish at all so is exploring a new original sound for her solo stuff.
You should definitely check out '7 days to the wolves' at wembley! Sure you will love it!

Great to see you guys back again! Did you know......, Floor is going to be one of the opening acts for Metallica during their 2023 M72 World Tour in the Johan Cruijf Arena in Amsterdam. Floor will perform in front of 50,000 Metallica fans. Despite of what might be expected, Floor wont do metal as she's doing that stuff already with Nightwish, instead; she will perform some of her solo stuff from the Paragon album. Talking about being ballsy............"You go Floor", "rip their balls off!".

Floor loves her metal and has no plans of stopping, but wanted in her solo album to make it not metal, but Floor. She wanted to step out of her comfort zone of metal and she made a beautiful album Paragon, I love every song on it.

I feel, like she did explore more or less the last 3 Years, what she can and would like to do, and didnt put out at all, what she did find. Already curious for the Next Longplayer of Floor, sure catchy Pop, but i bet on more Depth and Variosity in the Instrumentation.

Glad to see y’all back at it. As a WVU guy totally have the “Sea….Hawks” thing with “Let’s Go……..Mountaineers!” Been walking in resort in Bahamas with a WV hat on and hear…..”Let’s Go” from across the giant pool area. I like the mix on this album as well as you really hear Floor’s voice and the subtle things she does vocally. You all make it over to this side of US gig wise ? If so will be there … yelling Stick Twirl at Ern 😂

I was franticley searching for money fast, even with my parents to get tickets for floor's Solo show in The Netherlands in the beginning of 2020. I called her up asking to lend money for that. I called and before anything I could say she said "Oh hoi broertje" "Oh and I bought us tickets to Floor Jansen's Solo show in The Hague for us both because I knew you would like that"

And what a great way to kick off the comeback. Floor is an amazing singer and songwriter. Her solo stuff is really good and it’s impressive that she can do something so diffrent from metal and still sound super good.
There is some huge news about her aswell. She is opening for METALLICA tonight in Amsterdam. That’s right, she is doing it, not Nightwish.
The backround of this is that Metallica and Noghtwiah both played at festoval called Hellfest last year. James Hetfield caught part of Noghtwishes show from backstage and also came to say hi to thr band after the show. There is a fun clip with Floor and James talking and laughing and James gives her a fist bump and she is fangirling so hard! I always crack up when really famous artists or actors gets starstruck.
