Highly recommend this because I'm someone who gets discouraged when I see how many pages are left or paragraphs are left before the page is done so reading on a kindle where the words are bigger and you can look up any word that confuses you easily on there has made so much more interesting :)
I use it to practice my Japanese reading ability and have found it super useful. You can upload various formats like pdfs through a computer which allows you to read nearly any book for free
Got mine 5+ weeks ago and it's the greatest piece of tech I have ever bought! I had read more books in those 5 weeks than I did in months with physical books. I absolutely recommend it
i have a ton of books and its just too much paper and im backpacking europe for a month and thats so much space taken up in my bag for heavy books to read, so i have an ipad and i try to read on there but i get so distracted and start going on social media so i rly wanted something that i can read without getting distracted i bought the paperwhite IM OBSESSED ive read over 15 books and i just got it 2 months ago i take it with me everywhere to the beach, drs office, traveling, running errands etc its amazing and idk why i havent gotten a kindle sooner!
To me I have a kindle paper-white. But I compared to a physical book I enjoy seeing the thickness of the book and how much I've read and left. I have to keep looking at chapters left when I'm on my kindle lol , and I like mins left in chapter and book. But still miss holding a book. I end up borrowing a lot off libby. But I wish under in their summary page they added page numbers too, I have to search amazon for the book and tells me the page number before getting into a book that is like 400/500. Maybe it's good summary 🤔 but sometimes I could read a 400. But if I rather two 200 /250 page book. I read an hour a day each and get it done In a week. I tried a 400+ page 😅😭 and takes me way to long and get 🙃 like dam I got how many more chapters longer.
I never thought I would like reading on a kindle or listen to an audiobook. I love them book now especially my kindle! From January through November I have read and listened to 345 books. I read between 9:00 pm-5:00 pm (just like a job…haha!).
I JUST tried contacting customer services and they disabled my adds for free, mainly due to me having an older model (a 7th gen paperwhite which I’ve updated to a 10th gen) I’m so happy and thank you :). The customer service people were very kind
Thanks for the tip! I'm upgrading from a paperwhite 7th gen to the new one. Did you just contect them and ask if they could remove the ads? What did you say?
you can get a pocketbook inkpad color 3 its still e-reader and it have a color and dont hurt your eyes soo you can read colorful books, comics or manga ❤
I thing i dont like about the kindle is i notice is there is alwayys white dots on the screen on the black of the screen edges of the screen.I always wipe it but it always appers its so annoying man.
I'm only like in the mood to read at night, and I hate leaving the light on. Which was why I wanted to read on my phone or something. This device sounds perfect if I really want to get serious about reading
depends where u from. libby work on kindle in the US. but if you're in Canada like me, the only devices that work with our libraries is Kobo. For Kobo I recommend the clara for ease of use/transportation. and libra if u like buttons. They also have colour e-ink screens now!
@@dylankyang weird that Libby doesn’t work in Canada on the Kindle! I was about to buy a Kindle, but after seeing that there is no Libby support and Prime only has a limited supply of books, I may just stick to the kobo. 😅. Thanks for the clarification.
but its nothing compared to how pretty book covers are and how they feel and smell, it all comes with the experience for me. only reason i haven’t bought a kindle
you send any pdf document to your kindle email sccount and you will have it instantly (you need to activate wifi in your kinlde) in your device I've done it. It's suuuper easy and convenient
If you can't focus on reading a book, you probably can't focus on kindle too, (if you talk about distraction i.e kindle has no distractions which makes it easier to read e books) well....the whole world is a distraction , if you have zero focus. "Kindle is for avid readers".. not for who want to be an avid reader!! First try completing 5 paperpack books.
hunddooooo. I usually read them on the kindle first but if it's like a book I wanna mark up and make notes in I usually figure that out like a few chapters in then by the physical book lol
Hey brother I'm very poor, but I love to study and read, and I can't offord too many books,or anything else, plz help me and give me kindle as a giveaway plz help

FYI owning a Kindle hasn’t made me any more likely to read books.
lololol fair nuff, have u been enjoying the books u been tryna read tho?
@buzziaThe internet. Where everyone thinks people should give a damn about their opinions and choices 😂
@buzziayea I swerve when I drive
For me I like it more because it has a light so I can read under a blanket, it's fun

Getting one for my bday tomorrow morning so excited!!!!
Still have my kindle paperwhite from 2019. These things can last you a lifetime.
I’ve got my Ps2 since 2004 😂 flex in two decades pls

I wanna know too
Ok... So I've heard that if you just buy the premium for 22 and then ask for a refund to the costumer service, the ads do not show up.
I like how small the display is but I wish it was in color similar to how the kindle books appear on my phone.
I thought the same until I got the actual kindle for my sister and the black and white screen gives it a much more authentic book reading feel
its not meant for that,it supposed to give an authentic book reading experience similar to reading a paper book
won't be good for the eyes
you can get a pocketbook inkpad color 3 its still e-reader and it have a color and dont hurt your eyes soo you can read colorful books, comics or manga ❤
Can we also search meaning of words that we come across while reading?

I’m just wondering about the books, do i need to buy them through the kindle though?
This is my sign to get one….

Can you use the WPS android app in here?
Can you set the background to white?
I also like it because when i read a book the pages fly but not in kindle
Kindle settings has a page turning animation
I got a kindle yesterday, and I can’t take even 1 hour off of it
Can Kindle Paperwhite support reading PDF documents. Because I got a ton of PDF documents especially books in the technology field.
Yes, it supports PDF files
it does but better to convert them to epub
Love this device
Wooo! Glad you’re liking it! Hope you’re reading some good books!
Do you need to be connected to wifi to read the books?
Can it continuous scroll like the app?
The tablet my asian parents want me to buy:
I read so much more since I have my kindle
Engraçado ele colocar no peso de levantar 😂💚🇧🇷
Does Kindle hurt your eyes ?
Nice.
Thanks 👍
Fun fact: your mind will still wander even if you read the same book on Kindle. Better option is to stop reading what you don't enjoy reading.

Distraction is not what a ereader solves
Is it waterproof??
My battery lasts 2 weeks…
Can you write on it and take notes with stylus?
Paper white can take note with its keyboard but no stylus. Another upper series can use stylus
Kindle scribe lets one write the notes with the help of stylus but I am not sure about annotating the pdfs and kindle books.
What do you mean by "email them straight to your account"?
From what I know, every kindle have their own email addresses that you can use to transfer document
you send any pdf document to your kindle email sccount and you will have it instantly (you need to activate wifi in your kinlde) in your device
