- Curious about AI? To hard to get what you want? Check this out: www.asmtechbase.com/promeai
- Ok let's talk about the tutorial Modeling a slanted curtain wall 2 ways is not as hard as you think. It actually works quite well when you use the Elevation to model this and not just the floor plan.

You're welcome!
Thank you. Can you do a rendering/lighting tutorial??
there will be something coming, working on it but no time frame has been set yet.
Hi there! Great tutorial. Was just wondering if there a way to do a slanted curved wall? (ie. Zentrale Deutsche Post facade)
Thanks ! To do a slanted curved wall you can't use the curtain wall tool. Have a look at this video that is one way to model as slanted curved wall facade. czcams.com/video/FHpcPTo0Mqw/video.html
@@ASMTechbase Me again :) any way you can use a CW tool now that you know of?
at 3:00, I have followed the setting, insert the beam and also the window curtain. The beam isn't aligned with the window curtain on 3D view, there's a small gap on the bottom and top.
it's hard to tell not seeing the curtain wall settings for the beam. There will be a setting somewhere in the curtain wall tool box which creates these gaps. Maybe - under scheme at the bottom there are pattern origins, check these ?
sr sir, when you pick the 1st curtain wall, to make a beam, i dont really understand why we must pick boudary, and why it can be a beam later
Hiếu Trần because the actual beam tool you can't slant 2 ways so you need a "curtain wall" for it. You could use a morph too but this way it's faster .
Is it possible to add VERTICAL door in a slanted curtain wall?
The best way is to draw additional walls and ad the door there. Of course you need to delete some of the curtain wall which you can do by going into the curtain wall editing mode.
How would you add a door to this slanted curtain wall? Ensuring the door is 90degrees?
If you like to keep the door at 90 degrees then follow these steps:
- select the curtain wall and view in 3D ( it's easier )
- select the curtain wall in 3D and click the edit option
- now select items like glass panels, beams, etc. you don't need ( where you like to build your door )
- then in the hole you created draw a normal wall on the floor plan and add the door, another 2 walls either side to close the gab or whatever you like to model there.
Thankyou!! That worked perfectly! Great videos!!!
