- I got a new GoPro 11, and I hadn't used my wing-mount in a very long time, so that's what this is. I was curious to see what the hammerheads looked like from this view point. There was a nice thin cloud layer that was fun to fly around. Probably looked better in person than in the video. A cold camera battery cut off the touchdown at landing (really, it wasn't a poor landing!).

That is such inspiration to get my sonex done !!!! Nice flying, and thanks for posting videos
Looks like lots of fun, very envious. Thanks for sharing.
Do you have the big or small ailerons?
The standard size ailerons (not the aerobatic ailerons).
@@mikesmith208 Oh good. I plan on trying some acro and the one I'm building has the short ailerons also. Very nice flying there sir!
@@emotodude Some of the discussion on sonexbuilders gives kudos to the acrobatic ailerons at slow speeds - they have more authority there. I think I also remember somebody saying the acro ailerons have higher stick forces at full deflection. But as Mike and others have shown the original ailerons are just fine. I'm happy with my acro ailerons and my flaps give me plenty of drag for landing.
