- Watch as my daughter, Laurel, designs and builds a leprechaun trap for her 1st grade St. Patrick's Day project last year (with a little help from Dad). This footage has been in the back log and I finally got to finish it with a new outro scene from this year (you can tell she grew a little!) in time for St. Patty's Day. If you liked this video, of course hit that thumbs up and leave a comment and let her know! Thanks for watching! Subscribe, Like, Share and Comment!

Hi
Looks like she's going to take over the engineering world. Very cool video!
GP Woodworks haha, thanks man, I know, she has a very mechanical mind!
L:n do not like to play
Your a lucky man she's a GEM! She has a talent for design and what a personality. My best memories from my youth was being in the shop with my grandpa. loved this video
Her handwriting is better than mine and I'm probably twice her age 😆
Very Nice Little Apprentice !! 👏👏 Hope you get your leprechaun. Great job dad! Happy St Patrick's day. 👍👍🤗
Sue Peterson thank you, you too!
Very cool! Lol If you guys still have it, try using it on a mouse or rat to see if it actually works, but hang a piece of cheese there and put some cheese underneath the hanging one.
Very Cute and funny.
She is adorable, great video.
Spencer Bass thanks!
Great job Laurel and it looks like it will work great. I hope you catch a Leprechaun. Good Luck!
William Logan Laurel says thanks and she'll let you know if she does!
Thank you. Laurel is an engineer in the making and this coming from a BSME (retired). Wishing you, Laurel and your family a Happy St. Patrick's Day. Cheers!
William Logan I believe you're right. I've been having her take things apart to see how they work since she could crawl and she seems to really love building things too. Happy St Patrick's day to you and your family as well!
GREAT JOB Laurel!!! Your trap sure will catch a leprechaun, don't forget that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...!!! 💰😊😊👍👍👍

thanks!!!
did you guys catch him????
Love this! Is building leprechaun traps a tradition of some sort? Come St Patrick's day, do/did you add a small leprechaun doll, or a bunch of gold-foiled chocolate coins to the trap, or both? I love the way you interact with Laurel and how trusting of her you are in regards to tasks. _(I left a comment trying to express that recently on another video but it disappeared, so my apologies if you had to delete it as being too over the top or something - I just really admire the level of respect you show to her! :)_
Simon B hey Simon! Thank you, this was a project for 1st grade last year and one which many parents dread, but we had fun because Laurel is such an energetic and smart little girl (if I do say so myself 😀). I really appreciate your kind words my friend and I sent you a pm after your last comment disappeared (I didn't remove it but it vanished somehow??) Thanks again!
Ahh, I didn't get any notification about the PM - have checked and read that now and I'm glad you saw a copy of the message before it disappeared at least.
Simon B maybe I accidentally hit remove on my phone after I read it, one of the best comments I ever received...would have definitely kept it!
smarter your daughter .. compared to me..👌👍👏
I just subscribe for more Nice videos
Great Leprechaun trap! Did you catch one?
We made a Leprechaun trap video too and you should check it out!
You have to tell us if you caught one make a wish!
haha, none this time....they are too smart!
I hate to burst yer bubble folks but Leprechauns can NOT be trapped due to their ability to pass through solid objects at will... this is why we Irish never even bother trying to catch 'em... 👍😎☘
