Same!!! I haven’t been to a salon in 20 years maybe more. I have a terrible time with ppl touching my hair and face but also it’s hard to find someone that truly understands curly hair. I’ve given myself trims, layers and curtain bangs. I really just want to get a style down that I love. I’ve gotten my hair almost to the top of my behind so very long but I want something cute. I’ve been finding it difficult to style my hair, dress and even makeup styles since coming into my 40’s. Any tips anyone??? ❤❤❤
Cut dry and wet, if they ever want to wear it straight is not going to look nice. If they always wear it naturally curly/ wavy, then fine. But ask the client first

It looked prettiest after first cut. Could have easily stopped there .
No one in my city can cut curly hair 😪
There's only one near me but they charge super duper expensive 🙃 it'll be like almost $200 especially I have long curly hair

Me too. No curly specialists in at least 50 mile radius from me. Definitely not enough curly cut specialists in the world.😢

Just looking at the curly hair cut gives me anxiety i cant deal with my curls. Its too much

Sorry,but it's normal to wet the hair before the hairstylist do ANYTHING on the hair! They just cut these poor womans curls off and call it a style...

I’ve had it cut dry. I think it’s so they get a feel for the curl. Wet hair can become springy or even straighten.
