- "What if The Weather Channel didn't get rid of Weatherscan?"
That is the question I asked myself when starting this project. I rebuilt the entirety of Weatherscan from the ground up natively on the IntelliSTAR 2 xD, redesigned to align closer to the WATT/Nemo design style that TWC still uses to this day. My primary reference for the design is the original Weatherscan design that debuted on the IntelliSTAR 1 back in the early 2000's, a personal favorite of mine. - Věda a technologie
Q: Is this a PowerPoint presentation or an After Effects template?
A: Nope! This is the real deal, recreated on a real IntelliSTAR 2 xD using the same tools that TWC used to make the graphics for the machine originally.

A: Currently the Local Forecast, Health, and Garden sets of products are available, but there will be more released in the future.

This looks incredible!! Blends the two styles (classic Weatherscan & WATT/Nemo) perfectly together.
I'd also love to see how severe mode would look in this.
I have plans for a severe mode in the works! all that is in place right now is a small theming change when there's the alert bulletin and the Up Next bar when the alert is on screen

Some products are a bit too fast for my taste. but its still amazing what you have done with the i2xD!
This is just a complication showing very short segments of the products. They are much longer in reality, and there are many that were not shown in the video. A full loop currently takes about 6-7 minutes.

Did Weatherscan just get revived or is this just a hoax?
Think of it like a spiritual successor! It is indeed real and running on TWC hardware, but this is not officially made by them.
This looks awesome! A great Weatherscan would have been Azul... if they kept it around. Great stuff!
