Not trying to defend Ange here, in Asia we don't look people in the eyes when we talk. Looking people in the eyes are shown as challenging their beings, anything they say is out the door. Ange did coach in Japan. His home country is in AFC, where he faces all the rest of Asian nations... for years of coaching he probably learned a thing or two about not looking in someone eyes when talking to them.
