- Providing new members with an excellent first experience and showing server value will retain members and keep engagement high. so, onboarding is same as Welcome screen which allows you to ask some questions from your member when he joins and according to his answer, he will get roles and channels permissions etc.

This is a really interesing new feature indeed. I first found this in the Rythm discord server and wanted one of those. I'm guessing they're rolling them out to partner servers first.
I have a problem, my 3rd task keeps saying: Failed to save server guide, Check that the permissions on your To Do and resource channels are set correctly. How do I do that?
I Have Trouble setting up the to-do list, What Causes a message when I tried to save saying that I have to Check the Permissions of the To-do and Resource channels were settled to be correct, but I did everything Correctly.

CAN SERVER USER GET BACK TO ONBOARDING SOMEHOW?? Like user options channel or such? Or do I need to create ONBOARDING and separate reaction roles channel in case person missed something???
So in order to get this feature you will have to have to enable community (found in server settings) and you will have to have a rules and guidelines channels to get community. If it doesnt work otherwise, restart your device and it should work.

when i select channels it says i still have a few missing items, and I kept on unlocking channels but it dont work
What if you skipped a step on accident how do you go back and fix it. The only option is disable?

hmm I am trying to set up a questionnaire for new members so I can find out where people learned about the server. I can use this system if discord tallies all the answers so I can view them later, but I suspect discord only does that if I assign a role for the answers..?
You can't see the answers i think, but you can check that member role qhich yiu have selected

For all the people who can’t find it, you can only enable it on PC. This may change in the future but for now it will not work on phone or ipad

A way you can do it is logging in to discord on google and turning on "desktop site"
does anyone know why before for like 5 months my custom emojis worked with onboarding i got to add new ones even when ive added them to my emoji list and now it comes up with unknow emoji errror ?

Not all servers will have this feature, only servers with 5,000 or more people and Partnered servers will have this feature currently.
This sounded really interesting until I got the questions part. What is the point of that? I got there and said forget it.
What is the difference between pre and post questions
Pre questions are asking when joining the server. Post questions will be asked in Channels and Roles page after joining.

Don't understand you at all in the first step, how do you make it tie in with verification because you can't see all the other channels since you need to verify when you first join
If you have enabled this feature then verification will not work properly

In community click enable community. Then check the both boxes. Click next, skip reading all that crap, click I agree and undersatnd then it will enable community. Then go to onboarding then click chreck it out. Then do the stueps
