Our 100 Year Life™ gate valves being installed at Talybont Reservoir, Wales. Another Project that Blackhall is proud to be associated with. The large bore critical asset valves will be used in the emergency drawdown network which runs through the heart of the dam.

100 years. On an emergency dam dewatering line. Tested once every 3 to 5 years with no flow. No problem for most valves. In Cali, we still have dam dewatering valves from 1936 (but we're looking to replace them). Of course it's best to keep them fully wet or fully dry so it doesn't have build up from evaporation. What pressure? 150 psi / 10 bar?
